“Is he antsy about acting on theMarauders?”

“Not at all.” I shook my head. “Honestly, the opps are background noise right now,” I explained. “They don’t want to move on anything until Tati has had some time to come back to the action.”

“Is everybody good with that?”

“I don’t think they have a choice.” I chuckled. “Blue says we’re focused on the business shit, so that’s just what it is.”

“As it should be,” Alicia agreed. “I should let you go, so you can get home and shower before you go to Tati’s.”

I frowned. “Why would I do that when I’m just going to go over there and sweat and move boxes around?”

Her mouth dropped open. “Nyx, Iforbidyou to go over there smelling like a gyro with extra onions. Donotdo that to her.”

“I don’t smell like that.” I frowned, sniffing my armpit to check.

She pressed her lips together, eyes wide. “You’re right; I forgot the yogurt sauce. Get out of my car.”

“Daaamn, that’s how you do?” I laughed, opening the door.

“Yep, that’s how I do. I’ll be in touch,” she called through the open window as she pulled off, leaving me with a lot of pondering of my own to do as I climbed on my bike.

To go back to the clubhouse and take a shower before I went to help Tati.
