Calax just continued to laugh.

“It will only be you,” he said at last. There was so much love in his eyes, so much awe, that it was impossible for me to doubt his sincerity.

Still, I had trouble accepting what they were offering. Why would Calax be willing to share me? I wasn’t that special. And Ryder was a flirt. He couldn’t possibly be satisfied with only one girl, let alone one he had to share.

“Baby, Ryder needs you right now. I need you. Please just consider it.”

Well I didn’t have to consider it. If what they were offering me was true - though I still believed that they were going to laugh in my face and tell me it was a joke - then I would accept. I would do anything to keep the two men I loved with me.

Anything.

If that meant managing my time to ensure both of their happinesses, then I would do it eagerly.

My voice was shy when I spoke next.

“Yes, I’ll be your girlfriend.”

The next few seconds were a flurry of cheers and kisses. I felt thoroughly loved...and very horny. Having two boyfriends was going to do wonders to my (non-existent)sex drive.

Calax’s face was brilliant when he smiled. Beautiful. Ryder looked like I had offered him the world. After everything he had been through, he deserved to smile like that.

What did I possibly do to deserve these men?

“Two boyfriends,” I said at last, a yawn distorting my voice. I had never expected to even get one.

Calax exchanged another look with Ryder, and Ryder chuckled.

“I have a feeling that it’s going to be more than that,” Calax murmured. Before I could ask him what he meant, sleep claimed me.

I feel asleep nestled between two boys who loved me and who I loved back.

Liz

I was going to kill that bitch.

She took what was mine, and I would make her suffer.

Mine.

He was mine.

I knew that she thought I was unhinged, but how could she not see the connection between me and Ryder? We were soulmates, meant to be together, and she was just the whore in our way.

I mentally planned how I was going to kill her. Stab in the neck? No. Too painless.

Suffocation? A possibility.

Dismemberment of her limbs?

A smile curved my lips upwards. Ding. Ding. Ding. We had found ourselves a winner.

Footsteps from downstairs interrupted my musings. Of course, I couldn’t greet the intruder given the fact that the bitch had tied me to the bed.

I wondered if they had come back. Not they, as in Ryder and the bitch, but the other they. The they that made my wedding possible.

They would be pissed that I lost Adelaide.
