"Okay," Foster said with a nod.

"Don't do anything I wouldn't do."

"Now would I?" I beamed at Foster, and he laughed. He gave Rosalie a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"See you later, chica. Don't drink too much. You know you don't do well if you have too much alcohol."

"I'm not going to drink too much. Thank you, Foster."

"I just don't want you throwing up like that time when..."

"Oh my God, Foster, really?" She glared at him.

"Sorry. You're my kid sister. What can I say? I'm always going to see you as..."

"I know, a little girl," she said "La dee da. Come on, Oliver, let's go. Bye, Bro." Rosalie grabbed my arm, and I welcomed the touch. We made our way down the street, and she looked up at me in surprise.

"And before you ask, don't."

"Before I ask what?" I said with an innocent expression.

"Before you ask about Graham."

"You mean Graham crust?"

"His name is not Graham crust."

"You mean Graham cracker?"

"His name is not Graham cracker."

"Sorry, I figured it had to be one of the two." I grinned at her. "And why don't you want to answer?"

"What is there to answer?"

"Why didn't you tell me you had a boyfriend." She pressed her lips together.

"Same reason you didn't tell me about Diana."

"Yeah, but I wasn't using you to get over Diana. I couldn't give two shits about Diana."

"And I wasn't using you to get over Graham either." She sighed.

"Really, you didn't want me to take your virginity because you were upset that your boyfriend took a grad student position in another country and left you. "

"I couldn't care less. I'm the one who helped him choose the universities to apply to for grad school." She rolled her eyes, and then she pressed her lips together. "Not that it's any of your business." I stared down at her curiously.

"So you’re really not upset that he broke up with you?"

"It was a mutual breakup, and no, I couldn't care less."

"So why does Foster feel like you're absolutely beside yourself with grief?"

"Because I kind of pretended to my parents that I was really upset when we broke up, so that they would have sympathy on me and allow me to come to New York."

"Oh," I said staring at her suddenly feeling light and happy.

"So you are really not heartbroken over Graham."
