"I will admit that thinking you were using me to get over your ex-boyfriend did piss me off. See, and I will admit that it has made me reconsider what we could possibly have."

"But you don't want to date me, and you don't want to fuck me."

"Well, that's not true, Rosalie. I want to fuck you very badly. I just don't want to fuck you and then break your heart."

"You think so highly of yourself that you think that just because you fucked me, it would hurt me?"

"I think, as I said before, that it could get complicated really quickly, and I don't want your brother to be pissed off and kill me if things go badly."

"Well, then maybe he doesn't have to know." I stared at her for a few seconds.

"So what are you saying?"

"I'm saying we could sneak around." She gave me an innocent smile and batted her eyelashes at me. "I'm sure you’ve snuck around before."

"Perhaps I have." I nodded. "And you'd be okay with that?"

"Yeah. I mean, you're not the only one who wonders if anything between us could work." She stared at me, and her words hurt me a little bit.

"So you don't think we could work if we got into a relationship?" I asked her.

"Yeah. I'm not sure if we could. You might be hot, but..."

"But what?"

"You have a bad attitude, and you're temperamental, and you think it's your way or the highway and—"

"Okay," I said, cutting her off. "So there are several things you don't like about me."

"There are several things that I think are lacking in your personality, yes. Just because you're an attorney, and just because you're older than me and you're making money doesn't mean you're better than me. And it really doesn't mean that you're that much more mature than me." She pressed her hand against my chest. "I like you, Oliver. I fancy you, at least. I've got the hots for you. I always have, and yeah, I would like you to be my first because that's something I've wanted for a long time. Seeing you again just reminded me of how much chemistry we have, and you make me laugh. And well, I still want you," She looked up at me. "But I'm not going to play these games with you. So you have a choice to make."

"I do?" I asked, staring at her in surprise. "I have the choice, or you have the choice?"

"You have the choice, Oliver. We either have some fun, keep it a secret from my brother…"

"Are we also going to keep it a secret from Alice?" I stared down at her. "Because you know, as much as I love her, she can't really keep a secret."

"Who is she going to tell?"

"I don't know, but what if she let something slip in front of Foster, and then we have to explain why we've been lying to him."

"Fine. I won't tell Alice, but you know what that means?"

"No. What does that mean?"

"It means she's going to want to go out clubbing at night. It means she's going to want us to date other people."

"What do you mean?"

"It means I'm going to have to see other guys, or she and Foster will get suspicious."

"I don't like the sound of that." I frowned, staring at her. "I don't want you seeing other guys. I don't want you kissing other guys."

"So that would make you jealous?" she asked, her lip twitching. There was a laugh in her eyes.

"I mean, yeah, I mean, weren't you jealous when you heard about Diana?" She glared at me.

"I was pissed off more than jealous."
