“They’re in those huts over there, but only because we brought them there.” Gunner frowned.

“I’ve sent Tina home. Robert took her out of here by plane as soon as we got back.” Sawyer shrugged. “I feel bad, that wasn’t for everyone. I get that, but she didn’t even try and ruined it for Nadia.”

“Don’t fret about it. She wasn’t the girl for you.” Gunner slapped me on the back.

“Is that Asher over there?” Jade asked. “I thought we got back first?”

“You did,” I laughed. “Asher decided he didn’t want to play anymore. Maybe he should be with Tina.”

“I wanna see these huts. Did you design them?” Jade asked.

“I helped, but Asher did most of it. He’s really good at innovative design.” I pointed up into the trees. “Everything here is run off of solar power.”

“I love that. Do you have solar at the house?” Jade asked.

“Not yet, but it’s doing a great job here, so I’m going to have solar installed with back-up power.” I waved Josh over. “How about some drinks?”

“Marcus has a light snack prepared on the yacht. Do you want it out here or on the yacht?” Josh asked.

“Let’s have it out here, and get a bonfire going, too.” I stood to go tell the others.

“I heard you made it through the whole trek.” Josh smiled at Jade. I’m going to have to try it out one day.”

“When you’re ready, I’ll do it with you.” Jade stood with me. “Are we staying in these huts tonight?”

“We are. Would you like to get out of those fatigues and go for a swim before dinner?” I pointed across to hut number three. “That’s your hut and your luggage is already there.”

Sarah and Jade went to their huts to change for a swim. I knocked on the door to Nadia’s hut to see if she wanted to swim.

“Hi, I’m sorry again that Tina ruined your time today, but I hope you still had some fun.” I stood back when she came out on her little porch. “You look unhappy, though.”

“I would have liked to show you that I could do that adventure, but now you will not see that.” Nadia leaned on the railing. “I know we have similar interests, but I’m not so sure we are similar people.”

“I know what you mean. We will sail for three days to New York. I hope you will choose to stay and sail with us.” I waved to Sarah and Jade when they waved for me to join. “I want to know you better. Come, have a swim with me.”

“I would prefer to not swim in the ocean at this hour, but I will come sit on the shore.” Nadia turned back to her hut. “I’ll be out after I change.”

I nodded, then went to swim with Sarah and Jade.

“You call this camping?” Jade splashed water at me. “I call this luxury.”

“Asher got a little carried away designing them, but you’ll be glad if it rains.” I splashed her back.

“I heard Tina went home, but where’s Nadia?” Sarah joined in on the splashing.

“She’s changing her clothes, but she doesn’t want to swim in the ocean at this hour.” I looked back to see her coming. “I’m not sure why. I didn’t ask her.”

“Sharks. She’s right. It’s a bad time to be in the water. It’s feeding time.” Jade swam toward the shallow water. “I wasn’t thinking about it for a minute there, I was only thinking about cooling off.”

“Let’s get out, then.” Sarah swam past us to the shore. “I’ve seen Jaws enough times. Come on, get out.”

“You girls are gonna make me look like a wimp to the marines,” I laughed and swam after them.

“Do you see any of them in the water right now?” Jade pointed to them sitting by the beginning of a bonfire. “I don’t think they’ll make fun of you.”

Josh brought out frozen drinks for everyone, along with a platter of cheese and crackers. We sat around until the sun sank into the water.

“I’m assuming there’s a shower around here. If you can show me where, I’d like to clean the salt off before dinner.” Sarah stood. “There is a shower, isn’t there?”
