“Thank you, Daddy,” Fee smiled.
I pulled a box out of the bag and opened the top. There were two neckties in the box. Both were gorgeous designs. I’d never seen anything like them before.
“These are beautiful,” I said, admiring the ties that appeared to have hand-painted designs with high-quality silk material.
“I picked them out all by myself at Ms. Cam’s friend’s store. He said they are special,” Fee said.
The word he caused me to have a moment of jealously.
“Blacc had them at his studio. He’s making some for his upcoming show,” Cam explained.
Oh…Blacc…
“Fee, these are the best ties I’ve ever had. Thank you, baby girl,” I said while pulling her in for a hug. I kissed both of her cheeks twice as well.
“You’re welcome, Daddy,” Fee giggled.
“This has been the best birthday I’ve ever had. Do you want to know why?” I asked the girls.
“Why?” Skye asked.
“Because I have both of you. You two make me the happiest dad in the world. Thank you for my birthday gifts.”
I hugged them both.
A buzzer went off in the kitchen.
“That’s my pressure cooker. Dinner will be ready in a few more minutes,” Cam said before going into the kitchen.
I turned on the television for the girls and then followed Cam into the kitchen. I put my arms around her waist and pulled her close to me.
“Teaching an old dog new tricks, huh?” I said and softly bit her neck.
She giggled, “That’s what you get for being a troll!”
“Oh really?” I said and bit her neck again, causing her to giggle again.
“You didn’t learn anything?” she laughed.
“Oh, I learned a lot,” I said before kissing her.
Cam pressed her soft body against mine as we continued to kiss. We pulled away, and I heard a slight giggle behind me. I turned around and saw Skye and Fee standing in the doorway of the kitchen, smiling.
“Ummm, can we have some water?” Skye asked, still smiling.
I released Cam so that she could move around me.
“Yes, I have some of the small bottles of water that you like,” Cam said.
She opened her fridge and gave both girls a bottle of water.
They both thanked her before returning to their seats but not before looking back and smiling again.
“Morris,” Cam whispered. “They are going to think I’m easy.”
“What do they know about easy? Also, they already think you’re my girlfriend, so now they have proof,” I said while pulling her closer again.
“What makes you say that?”
