Julian slaps him, and Max growls in annoyance. "You know that's not what I meant. The girl you're sleeping with, who is she?"
"No one now, thanks to Cleo."
"Just because Cleo thinks you were hopping from bed to bed, doesn't mean you weren't interested in the one bed you were actually in."

I don't have time to think more about it when Julian's eyes light up with hope, and then he rushes toward the front door. Kendall, Willow, and Alexis have just walked in.
Alone.
No sign of Piper.
Yet. She'll be here.

And after being a total dick to her over something so trivial even I was shaking my head at him, he finally realized he was in love with her. Admitted it to all of us. Asked for our help. Which no one denied him. There isn't a single person in our group who didn't know he was in love with Piper.
Well, except her.
Which still baffles me. I have no idea how she was so oblivious to the way he looked at her. Or how he always migrated toward her. But the most glaring sign was the nickname he's called her since day one.

I honestly thought he didn't know her name for a while. Nope. He was just lovesick over a girl who had no clue.
Sliding up next to Julian, I pat him on the shoulder.
"Don't worry. She'll be here."
"You don't know that." He sounds even more defeated than Max.
"And you don't know she won't show. Maybe she just needed a little time to process the gift."
I didn't realize Julian was such a romantic. He went all-in, in an attempt to win Piper back. There's no way she won't see that and show up.
"Or maybe it's really over."
A pep talk is on the tip of my tongue when I spot Mya walking down the steps, her amazing body on display. My mouth goes dry, and my cock twitches at the sight of her.

And I don't want to be around to watch the massacre. Which is why I slip out the front door. I was ready to crawl out of my skin the second I stepped foot in that house. I'm only here for moral support, and as soon as Piper shows up, I plan to leave. Until then, I'm going to get some fresh air.
