She shook her head. What was happening to her? Where were these savage impulses coming from?
Kaden tightened his hold, keeping her locked in his arms as he lowered them both to the floor. AJ winced when her sore bottom came in contact with the hard surface. The tail lodged between her bottom cheeks, driving the implement attached to it farther into her rear passage. She bit off a whimper.
His response shocked her more than anything he’d done till then. He got to his knees, slid his arms under her, and, in one powerful move, rose to his feet.
Cradled in his arms, AJ felt small and dainty for the first time in her life. Feminine. Heart pounding, she gave in to a sudden urge and rested her head against his chest.
A few long strides took them to the bed in an alcove. Kaden laid her on her side on the edge. Then he piled two large pillows in the center and picked her up again effortlessly, positioning her with her hips resting on the soft surface and the tail dangling along one side.
He knelt between her legs, lifting her knees to rest on his shoulders. AJ thought she’d die of shame. She couldn’t bear being totally exposed and having a man look upon her private parts. Would he do the unspeakable thing Thelo had done? Put his mouth on her…there? Instead of being repulsed, AJ felt a wild thrill rocket through her.
She suffered a sharp pang of disappointment when he reached for the leather straps. Kaden unbuckled them from around her waist and eased the leather through the slits in the base of the metal probe, leaving it lodged inside her bottom but casting the tail aside. Then he dropped the leather harness on the floor.
“I’m not going to remove Tok’s device. It will be useful – later.”
He ran a hand casually between her legs, touching her everywhere now that nothing impeded him. The device shifted inside her. AJ shivered and tried to close her legs. But his arms were between her thighs, keeping her spread wide apart, and when he sat back on his heels, his shoulders raised her legs higher into the air. The Atlantean was stronger than she was, far stronger than she’d expected. The ease with which he’d lifted and carried her proved that.
For the first time in her life, AJ knew the feeling of helplessness. But, with a delicious shiver, she realized being helpless in the arms of a powerful, virile male carried a wild thrill.
When his hands parted her vaginal folds, AJ let out a muffled cry.
“You’ll be screaming much louder before the night is over.” He slid a finger inside her then two.
“Please…no.” Her voice was a whisper.
“Too soon? I can take care of that.”
He slid his hands under her bottom, raising her hips. She hissed at the stab of pain from his fingers on her aching backside. It disappeared when his tongue swirled across her core of pleasure.
AJ buried her fists in his long hair, trying to pull his head away. Instead of stopping, he licked her thoroughly, even darting his tongue into her vaginal opening.
Shock and sudden, savage need warred inside her. Need won. Her fingers tightened convulsively in his hair as the wave built. It surged over her, raw and overpowering, while his tongue ravaged her. AJ screamed, the sound torn from deep inside her as she exploded.
Kaden growled. Her legs slid off his shoulders as he rose over her. Ripping away his tunic, he lunged forward, covering her body with his. She felt his breath, hot against her neck. His mouth descended on hers.
AJ panicked. She couldn’t breathe. His lips were pressing against hers, his wet, hard tongue trying to invade her mouth. She’d heard of this ancient form of affection – kissing – but it was too intimate. She couldn’t bear it. With his powerful body pinning her down, she was afraid she’d suffocate. Unsheathed, his iron-hard rod probed between her spread legs.
Terrified, AJ struggled, bucking against him, writhing and twisting.
When she beat on his back with her fists, Kaden rolled off her, crouching on the edge of the bed.
“What in all the gods is wrong with you, woman?” he roared. “One minute you’re screaming in ecstasy, the next you’re fighting me off like you’ve never been fucked before.”
“That’s because I haven’t,” she yelled back then stopped, appalled at what she’d revealed.
“What do you mean – youhaven’t?”
“I mean I…haven’t ever done…that…before.”
“By all the gods, are you telling me I just ravaged a virgin?”
Her voice was tiny. “Yes and no.”
He glared at her. “Which is it?”
“Well, technically…yes.”
His tone grew hard. “Explain.”
