“Dude, you won’t.” Sky said, sitting up.

“I already did once on the cruise. I know you guys blew it off because she woke me up so it was just a reaction, but it’s the same feeling when we’re together.”

Gavin’s brows were drawn together, thinking, solving.

“I’m sorry,” Sky finally said. “I didn’t know it was an actual problem.”

Vince exhaled and nodded.

“Exposure therapy is the only thing I can think of.” Gavin said. “You’ll just have to take things slowly, gradually pushing the limit and stopping when you feel like your strength is growing. Over time, you’ll likely build up a tolerance or more control.”

Vince turned to me and I nodded. “We can do that.”

He ducked his head, “Thanks, Gavin.”

“I think this is a good idea,” Noah spoke suddenly. “We can try to keep things as separate as possible, but at the same time we’re all in this together. Our relationships impact and include all of us. Being able to communicate will help all of us.”

“Yeah, like when Ave’s ready for the next level––” Gavin stopped talking when Luca flinched. “What?”

Luca’s eyes shot to mine as a million emotions ran through me. Part of me wanted to run or disappear, another wanted to lie, and the last wanted to tell them all.

“Nothing,” Luca went with the second option.

“Liar,” Sky rolled his eyes.

All of the guys glared at Luca but I wasn’t going to let him take the heat for this. “Luca and I slept together.”

Vince’s jaw ticked.

“I’m going to assume not in the same way you’ve slept with all of us, in the same bed with actually sleep taking place.” Gavin’s voice was oddly even.

“Right.” I admitted.

“I thought you weren’t ready,” He didn’t appear angry, just curious.

“I wasn’t, a few weeks ago, but things changed.” He of all people should know. He was the catalyst. The first.

“Huh,” Sky cocked his head. “So was I right? Was there a small problem?”

I dropped my head into my hands while another round of expletives broke out.

“Aw, you were disappointed. I did warn you, Ave. None of them would compare.” Sky said before gasping.

I looked up to see Luca standing over him with his fist still clenched.

“You would say that,” Noah chuckled.

“This was a bad idea. We should go back to keeping things secret.” Vince grumbled.

“No,” Gavin interrupted. “It’s good.”

“It is?” I didn’t believe him. Vince was sulking, Sky had been punched twice, Luca looked like he was ready to go for a third, and Noah was laughing more than he normally would in a week.

“You said you were worried about keeping things even, but you were missing something.” Gavin raised his brows, “Our input. Even knowing that you and Luca have had sex, I still don’t think I’m ready.”

“I am,” Sky said and this time Vince shoved his shoulder with the full force of his strength, sending Sky tumbling away.

“I’m not, obviously.” Vince said.

“I don’t know if I am,” Noah finally calmed.

I sat there, unmoving while it all sunk in. I was putting all of the pressure on me, and Gavin just made it so we were all responsible for ourselves. I wanted to kiss him.

“See, being a little more open is necessary. I don’t really want to hear details about you and Luca, but just knowing that it happened seems fair.” Gavin looked around and one by one they agreed.

“We’ll get through together,” Luca repeated what Sky said earlier. “No matter what comes next.”
