“The physical side of it,” Niall added, oh so helpfully.

Sai rubbed his jaw. “I was assuming that would happen naturally over time.”

“There’s no rush at all,” Kaden added.

Well, at least I knew where I stood with them.

“I already told you I wasn’t ready to move in together or to have a physical relationship,” Niall said in his bored tone.

“Yeah, but that’s already changed. We’re moving in together as soon as the apartment is ready,” I pointed out.

He nodded. “That’s out of our control, but how quickly we take things is up to us.”

Theo agreed with him.

Okay, so their expectations aligned with mine. We could take things as slowly as I wanted.

“Where did this come from?” Sai asked.

I didn’t want to mention Natasha and my suspicion. I wanted this to be about us right now. “It's been something I’ve been worried about since we figured out we were bonded,” I answered.

He shook his head. “But something made it urgent.”

“The ceremony is tomorrow,” Theo pointed out.

“Right, but that doesn't mean anything else has to happen that quickly,” Niall pointed out.

I sucked in a breath. “It doesn’t?”

“Of course not,” Kaden answered. “We’re still getting to know each other. Everything else can come later.”

It wasn’t exactly the answer I wanted, but maybe it was the one I needed right now. I had enough to worry about without digging into the past.

“Can we get back to our party now?” Sai struggled to get up from the beanbag. Niall rolled to the side to stand, then held out a hand to help him.

“Yes, please.” I jumped up and was the first person out.

“You’re back!” Malik cheered when I opened the door.

Hannah handed me a drink and leaned in. “You survive?”

I let out a sigh. “Barely.”

She laughed and took Daniel’s hand.

“So, what are we doing now?” I asked.

“Well, we wanted to do a newlyweds game but realized you guys probably can’t answer any of those for each other, so we decided to take it back to the basics,” Malik explained.

I glanced around, but none of the guys seemed to know what was going on.

“We’re going to play ‘Never Have I Ever,’” he finished.

I shot him the darkest glare I could muster. Why didn’t he tell me that before? I could have gotten the same information without having one of the most embarrassing conversations of my life.

“And miss out on that fun?” Niall whispered in my ear.

I spun and was practically flush against him. “Stop that.”
