My eyes went to Niall, who stared at the ground.

Right. He always left. I knew now that he was at the library, researching ways to help us, or talking to Natasha. Not that I wanted to think about that. But now he didn’t have an escape.

“I’m staying now.” Niall’s glare dared any of the guys to challenge him.

Sai shrugged. “Good.”

“Doesn't change the issue of sleeping arrangements,” Theo pointed out.

Niall stood. “Check again.”

I twisted to see the bed had nearly doubled, taking up as much space as possible and providing more than enough room for the five of us to sleep comfortably.

I got up and hugged him. “Thank you.”

He held me tight and kissed the top of my head. “Let’s go make sure our bags made it here.”

I’d forgotten we left them in the SUV when we arrived. They weren’t in the room, but Theo went to the only other door and opened it.

“Nice bathroom.” He disappeared, then called out. “In here.”

I crossed the room to follow. The stone bathroom featured an oversized tub like the one I left behind, with a shower large enough for all of us to use at once.

Not that we ever would.

Although . . .

“Here’s yours.” Theo held out my toiletry bag, and I took it, searching for my toothbrush and toothpaste.

As I got ready for bed, I claimed a drawer between the double sinks and put my things in, while checking out the closet. Like the rest of the room, it was more than large enough for all of our belongings.

Who usually stayed here? Another bonded group? That was the only thing that made sense. Hopefully, they weren’t planning to visit anytime soon.

“I don’t see any pajamas, Saige,” Sai called from the closet.

He and Theo were unpacking for the rest of us, something I’d have to thank them for later. If it were up to me, I’d live out of my bag forever.

I spit out my toothpaste and put my toothbrush away before helping him sift through my bag. “I didn’t pack any?”

He checked again and shook his head. “We all grabbed things in a rush, so we’ll have to put together a list of what we missed and either borrow from the pack or have what we need sent in.”

“You can wear these,” Niall offered me one of his T-shirts and apair of boxers.

“Thanks.” I took them and went into the separate toilet room to change before joining them again. “Do we have a laundry hamper?”

“No,” Theo answered from where he was putting a pile of clothes on a shelf. “Just pick a designated corner for now.”

I did, then found Kaden pacing in front of the bed. “What’s wrong?”

He paused and sliding his gaze over me. The corner of his lips curved. “That’s a good look for you.”

I looked down at the slightly oversized brown shirt, practically the same thing he had on, and made a face before pointing to my hair. “You don’t think it clashes?”

“Nah, red and brown are one of my favorite combos.”

He held out his hands, and I walked into his arms.

“The guys are unpacking for us.”
