“We’ll come see you,” my boyfriend says next to me. “I was thinking of taking a week off to come cheer you on this winter!”

“Anytime you want!”

My brother gives a thumbs up and I smile. Theyoutouches my heart because it took so long for Edgar to accept Nolan and I as a couple. Seeing him standing in the middle of the living room, his hands in his pockets as if he were in his place, even though it’sourhome, makes my chest tighten.

Of joy.

Pure joy.

“Don’t fight to come and help me!”

A muffled curse makes us turn around and we come across Leo, his arms loaded with two full boxes where my books are stored. I rush over to him, laughing.

“Give me that!”

“What did you put in it, rocks?”

“Made in France,” jokes Nolan.

He winks at me, and my stomach lets out a flurry of butterflies at the memory of that first day back from France, when I had to move in the apartment, and he was there. He was waiting for me with that smirk, and I threatened to hit him with a rock. That was the beginning. Our beginning.

Here we are two years later, in Boston. In our apartment.

Our home.

“Ed, we have to hurry if you don’t want us to miss the plane!” announces Leo.

“Why rush? You have the year ahead of you, man.”

“I can’t believe you’re taking a year off,” Nolan blurts out. “It’s such a lazy idea.”

“Jealous,” says Leo.

“Shut the fuck up.”

“You Kids!”

Leo punches Edgar in the shoulder and I chuckle as I watch the three of them bicker. Like before.

Oralmostas before. The guys have finished their studies, they leave the university to take different paths while swearing to keep in touch. And me… I don’t have this crush on my unreachable brother’s best friend anymore. No. I’m dating this unreachable best friend, my lifelong crush, and he’s got a crush on me too. I look at Nolan and he gives me a sideways glance, giving me a wink before placing his hand on my hip, pressing his mouth to my ear, and whispering, “Welcome home, my love.”

Thank You for Reading!

We sincerely hope you enjoyed reading this book as much as we enjoyed publishing it. If you did, we would appreciate a short review on Amazon or your favorite book website. Reviews are crucial for any authors, and even just a line or two can make a huge difference.

Acknowledgments

Tadaaaam! It’s officially the end of this story, now we have to let Nolan and Scarlett live their love in broad daylight without us still being in their way… I know, it breaks your heart and mine too, but all the beautiful things have an end but it allows the beginning of something new.

But before seeing you leave for good, I wanted to say, THANK YOU!

To you, reader, for giving this story a chance and sticking around to read this piece (I’m talking about thanks, of course…).

Thanks to my Wattpad readers, you are such sweeties. You have motivated me so much, supported me, made me laugh, vibrate. I loved every minute spent behind my screen reading your comments, answering you, sharing with you. My stories, I owe my stories to you.

Thanks to my sister for always being there to support me in my ideas and pushing me to write. Thank you for correcting me, complaining, giving me advice and above all for following me in all my projects (and only you know how much I have too many!) You know very well that without you I would never have started writing and I owe you a lot. It’s just crazy to be in publishing together and it wouldn’t have been the same if you hadn’t been there (cheesy? Yup, heart on you anyway).

Thanks to my family (who will surely only read this book until the cows come home, because there are still things, I like to hide from them…) for their support and trust. It’s also because you got involved with me in this adventure that it made it possible!
