“They done?” I asked him as I slipped my own hearing out but didn’t sense any wild breathing.

“Yeah, they’re done.”

“Good. I have business to discuss with her.” I pushed open the door and after a quick glance around the living room, I went straight to her room. She was laying upside down on the bed, her foot in a man’s lap as he rubbed it. Well, look at that, sex, food and a foot massage—lucky girl.

“I’m next.” I said as I stepped into the room. The man practically jumped out of his skin and pulled a pillow over his groin. “Honey, you don’t have anything I haven’t seen a thousand times.”

My sister rolled to her stomach, “I didn’t think you were going to get home until tomorrow.”

“I couldn’t find anyone else to push around.” I stated. “Looks like you’ve been busy.”

I checked out the attractive man sitting against the headboard, for a human he was rather tasty looking. My gaze went to his neck and I licked my lips. “You ready for another round?” I asked him and his eyes widened slightly as I perched on the edge of the bed.

“Leave Hugh alone. Hugh, this is my sister, Angelina.”

“Nice to meet you.” He said, his voice deeper than I had expected, and I stared into his light blue eyes. Bingo, that’s why she took this guy to her bed. Damn blue eyes.

“Nice to see you, Hugh.” I let my gaze roam audaciously over him.

“Lena, go in the other room. I’ll be there in a minute.”

“Fine, ruin my fun. Here I am running all over the country trying to find these pricks, and you’re back here going to town with every guy who has his eyes.”

“Lena—” I heard the anger in her voice, felt it blast through the room.

I jumped off the bed, “Sorry, I’m going.” I didn’t bother to look back. I knew I would see the frustration and pain in her eyes. I always saw that whenever she was reminded of the men from her past.

I poured myself a drink as I waited. Truth be told, I was a little bit jealous. Hugh was an attractive man, and my sister did look rather satisfied, well at least in one way. I knew she hadn’t fed from him, and she needed to feed soon. Over the years, our metabolism had changed. Both Kristin and I needed to feed more regularly than the rest of our breed. We keep that quiet, with only a few knowing the truth about the dangerous blood that ran through our veins.

I was halfway through my drink when Kristin came out in a t-shirt and jeans. “Was it good?”

She gave me a drool look, “Pour me one of those.”

I refilled my glass and one for her. “Why didn’t you feed?”

“Because I didn’t want to.”

“Kris, you have to feed.” She glared at me, “And I’m sorry for that earlier comment.”

“Whatever,” she took the glass.

“Where is your friend?” I asked as I glanced back at the bedroom door.

“He’s taking a shower.”

“Wow, you not only bring him up here to screw him, but you let him use your shower, too. What’s so special about him?”

“Nothing. Now, what did you find out?”

“Not anything good, that’s for sure. I reached out to all of my contacts, and then some. Either people don’t know where he is hiding, or they aren’t saying.”

Kris frowned, “Someone has to know something.”

“Yeah, I agree, but the man’s location is a tight kept secret. I did find out that he has a new mate. He’s not with Tracey anymore, but with a woman named Diane, and they have a kid named Zander.”

“How long has he been with this other woman?”

I shrugged, “No clue. The couple people that mentioned it said quite a while.”
