Chapter Eleven

Istared at her in wonder—and nervousness.She was incredible, and from the moment she had taken my blood, I had desired her above any other woman I had ever met.Maybe it was because, since the incident where Tonya had died, I had been scared to death of anyone else taking my blood.Knowing the reason behind that made things so different, and knowing that the beautiful woman in front of me could feed from me, made me want her at my vein more than anything.
I had never been bonded to someone deeply, and I sure as hell had never been mated.The thought of being coupled to someone as powerful as Angelina was a heady thought, and I was determined to make sure that I held up my side of the bargain.The fact that she was in love with another man was forefront on my mind.Maybe by the time he showed up, we would figure everything out with me, like finding another female reborn—or perhaps Lena would fall in love with me and not go rushing back to her sister’s mate.

She cocked her head, raising one of her sexy brows.“Wanna make a bet on that?”
“I don’t know about betting with you.”I chuckled.“How about I just take your word for it and let you show me how much better it’s going to be?”
“Fair enough,” she commented quietly before she brought her lips to mine for a sensual kiss.Our tongues dueled tenderly as my hands slipped over her back.For a few moments, the two of us explored the kiss and each other’s bodies.Then I rolled her to her back and moved my face between her breasts, taking time to lavish each nipple before moving on.
I shifted her thighs wider as I positioned myself between them, and we stared at one another.“Are you sure?”I asked her as I paused.
