“Have I thought about marrying you?” she asks, the smile still on her lips.

I hold her stare. “Just marriage in general. Do you see yourself married one day?”

“Yes. Do you?”

I nod. “What about kids?”

“Yeah, I want kids.”

“I saw you with Hunter. It suited you.”

She grins. “He’s just the cutest. I can’t wait for more cuddles. Do you want kids?” I nod. “How many?”

“Four at least.”

Her eyes widen. “Four?”

I chuckle. “I want my kids to have what I have with my brothers and Ash. A house in Hope Creek with a wraparound porch, a white picket fence, and a pool in the backyard.”

“I love what you have with your family. I want all of what you’ve just said, Seb. It sounds like you’ve given it some thought.”

“It’s all I’ve thought about these past few weeks. I knew if I got a second chance with you, I was going to grab onto it with both hands.”

She tilts her head and kisses me. “I guess we’d better get a move on with the practice, then, especially if you want four.” Her voice is deadpan, and I laugh.

“As soon as you’re out of here and better, baby, try and stop me.”

“I love you.”

“I love you too.”

I want it all with her. If you’d asked me even six months ago, I’d have saidnot a chance, but meeting Taylor changed everything for me. Now that I know she feels the same way, there’s no doubt in my mind she’s my future. There’s no rush, though. We have the rest of our lives to be together, and I can’t wait to see what that life looks like.

EPILOGUE

Taylor – A year later

“Do I really need to wear this?” I ask, my fingers coming over the blindfold Seb’s insisting that I wear.

“Can you promise to keep your eyes closed?”

“Umm… no.”

He chuckles. “Then you have to wear it.”

“Where are we going?”

“I’m not telling you, Tay. Stop asking.” I pout and he presses his lips to mine.

He takes my hand and leads me out the back of Eden.

“I borrowed Nash’s truck,” he says as I hear him open the door. He helps me into the passenger seat and closes the door. When I hear the driver’s door close, I turn to him.

“Why did you need to borrow Nash’s truck? Are we going far?” He ignores me, and music from the radio fills the cab. “Seb?”

“Just wait and see. We’ll be there in a few minutes, okay?”

I grin. “Okay.”
