“Stop.” Percy barks at me. “Come inside.” He stands back and I walk into his home.

“Percy, I’m sorry.” I say again feeling like a complete jerk.

“Please, go look for the homewrecker.” Percy stands to the side and gestures with his hand for me to search his home.

“I don’t need to.” My voice is low.

“Obviously you do. You come all the way up here in the middle of the night to look for another woman, it’s ridiculous not to follow through.” He grabs hold of my hand and he pulls me through the house. Of course there’s no one here.

“Percy, stop.” I pull my hand away from his.

He turns and crosses his arms over his chest. “What is the problem?”

“I didn’t realize I was this self-conscious, but the longer I talked to Cassie about it the more I realized that I don’t think I can keep this a casual thing between us. I’m starting to feel a lot for you and the thought of sharing just drove me crazy. Add in the alcohol and Cassie making our relationship sound like a soap opera and I ended up here.” I let my head fall down completely embarrassed of the spectacle I’ve made of myself.

Percy takes a step closer to me and raises my chin so I’m looking at him, “Who said anything about us being casual? I don’t do anything casually. It’s either all or nothing with me. I want all of you. We’re exclusive and there won’t be any homewreckers here or anywhere else as long as we are together.”

My heart pitter-patters in my chest, “You want that? I’m not trying to force you into anything.”

“Ella, I want it. I want you.” He leans down and kisses me. “Though, I may want you more after you brush your teeth.” He laughs at me and I push him away. I can feel the alcohol burning my taste buds.

“Yeah, let me get home. Sorry about all this.” I press my lips to his, but before I can pull away he wraps his arms around my waist holding me close.

“Stay?”

I relax into him, “You’re not tired of me yet?”

“I don’t think I’ll ever be tired of you.” Percy kisses the top of my head.

“Oh crap!” I smack my hand to my head and push away from Percy. I run back towards the front of the penthouse with Percy close on my heels. “Oh no, Carrie. You okay?” My poor best friend is huddled up behind the potted plant sleeping in the fetal position.

“Kick his ass.” She mutters out in her sleep and Percy laughs behind me.

“I guess if I want you, she comes with?” Percy says looking down at my friend.

“Yup, package deal.” I shrug.

“Still worth it.” He bends down and picks up Carrie from the floor. I walk behind him and just can’t believe how lucky I really am.

My head feelsat least three times too big.

“Why did you let me do this? When you wake up I’m going to kick your ass. Oh, I hate you so much. I don’t even know where I am. Did we get kidnapped? How is it that I can’t move my eyelids?” Carrie blathers endlessly. I don’t know when I got in the bed with her and from what she’s saying I’m assuming she doesn’t know either.

“Why are there noises coming out of your mouth?” I grumble and try to lift my oversized skull.

“Oh thank God, I thought you were dead.” Carrie rolls over knocking into me and causing a dull pain to spread out like a radar wave through my body.

“I’m never drinking again,” I say, trying to push her off.

“You said that last time.” Carrie mutters still not moving her dead weight off me.

“I hate you so much.” I turn my head trying to figure out where I am, this bed is too big to be mine.

“You ladies all right in here?”
