The server approached immediately to take their drink orders. My brother, Marco, turned his attention to Isabelle as he ordered, but it was evident that his thirst for her was greater. His date sat clueless next to him with a beaming smile plastered on her face.

“Hi!” She greeted everyone cheerfully. “I'm Amy.”

Tanya, also clueless, turned to her and introduced herself. “I'm Tanya and I’m so bad with names, so I’m likely to forget yours.”

“It's A-M-Y, like the name, Amy,” she clarified unhurriedly and louder than necessary as if she thought Tanya was hard of hearing.

Ignoring them, I continued to stare at my brother. “What are you doing in London?”

He narrowed his glare on Isabelle. “Just doing a little sightseeing,” he smirked, “and I think I'm enjoying the view.”

Isabelle jerked her head up, mildly distressed. My security and William awaited my signal. Isabelle started to shiver, and I knew I needed to get her away from him. I raised my hand and Joseph appeared next to me within seconds.

“Take the girls back to the--.”

“Oh, you don't have to do that,” Marco interrupted coyly. “I'm just spending time with my favorite people so Joseph you can be gone.”

Joseph gritted his teeth. “I do not take orders fr--.”

“Take them now.”

He nodded as Marco snorted, rolling his eyes as he gawked at another woman walking past our table. Amy sat clueless, looking around at everyone with hopeful eyes while I gave silent signals to William and Joseph.

Isabelle and Tanya stood, immediately following an incredibly enraged Joseph. He did not want to follow my orders at the moment, but he did without further question. I could tell he would have instead, rather put a bullet in Marco in front of everyone.

As the girls left, Isabelle glanced back toward me in dread.

I gave her a comforting look. It's okay, I mouthed before she turned away to leave.

Once they were out of sight, I focused my attention on Marco's date.

“I need you to leave immediately, uh--.”

“It’s Amy,” she whined as she dragged out theY.

“Okay, please excuse us.” I tried to be polite to her as I plastered a fake, smile on my face. “I need to speak with my brother.”

Marco picked up a knife, slowly twirling the sharp tip on the tablecloth as she got up. Clueless she paraded toward the bathroom as she shook her bottom. He never took his eyes off me as he sneered, challenging me to make a move. Shifting in my seat, I glowered as the three of us dared one another to speak first. I had bigger issues to worry about right now, and I did not want to be here.

“Marco,” I sighed impatiently, “as much as I am enjoining…whatever this is, I cannot play this game right now.” I spoke as calmly as I could, propping my arm on the back of the chair Isabelle had been sitting in. “I have to deal with Felipe right now.”

He abruptly stopped spinning the knife, letting it fall to the table. He leaned forward, “Ayala?”

I nodded as William exhaled, rolling his eyes.

“Well, why didn't you say so, brother?” Marco wickedly laughed. “I’m in London to kill him, myself.”

“Oh no,” I shook my head, lifting my hand. “I do not want your help.”

He held his arms out to the side, shrugging, “And I didn't ask your opinion or permission.”

He pulled out his wallet, sliding out a card and tossed it onto the table. William picked it up before I could reach for it. Studying it, his face twisted in confusion.

“Is this a fucking joke?” William asked Marco as he flipped the business card to me, covering his mouth as he propped his elbow on the table.

“What?” Marco smirked.

William watched me, waiting for my reaction. I started to laugh, throwing my head back. I suddenly narrowed my eyes, glaring at Marco. I leaned forward, resting my elbows on the table.
