She handed out a few and then made her way to the main building.

Having never been in the marina before, she had no clue where she was going, but followed the path toward the water, passing a lot of people.

She got to the building and opened the front door to go into a small store there and a counter where people were waited on or paid for gas or anything else they needed.

“Can I help you?” someone asked her when she was looking around. She was trying to see if there was a hallway or something toward the offices and realized that might not be the case.

“I’m looking for Wesley,” she said.

“Can I get your name? I’ll see if I can find him.”

“It’s good, Sally,” Wesley said, coming out from behind the counter. “Come back with me, Jasmine.”

She walked around the desk and through the door, down a hallway and toward some offices.

“How did you know I was here?” she asked.

“My mother texted me that you were coming over. I was hoping that you would and realized I never said anything last night.”

“I didn’t either,” she said. “I wasn’t sure how busy you’d be or if you’d be here.”

“It seems I’m always here. So is my mother. I told myself I wasn’t going to stay long though. What are your plans today?”

“Nothing now,” she said. “I was going home to relax.”

“I’ve got a few things to do and I’ll be done in an hour or less. How about we go back to my place? I can cook us some dinner on the grill if you want and we can relax without having to worry about rushing through dinner at a restaurant.”

“I’d love that,” she said.

“I’ve got a pool if you want to swim.”

“A pool and you’re on the water?” she asked.

“I’ve got access to the water, but the pool is nice too. I guess I get a nice view no matter where I look. I’m across the street from the water with a dock of my own. The back of my house has the pool.”

“Water comfort on both sides,” she said.

“Yes.”

“If you don’t mind sharing your address, then I’ll go home and change and get my suit and wait for you to text me when you’re done.”

He leaned down and kissed her, pulling her close to him. “I’ll see you soon.”

She was hoping to see more soon too. Maybe them both getting in the water would be the push they needed.

She was pulling out her skimpiest sexiest bikini and was going to cross her fingers.

Being Spontaneous

Wesley texted Jasmine when he was home. He wanted to give himself time to make sure he had stuff to grill and the house was neat enough. The pool was on and clean.

He should have thought of all of this before he asked her over but then told himself so far being spontaneous was working in his favor.

Now he just had to wait for her to arrive and hope he had some control over his body seeing her in a swimsuit.

There might be part of him that was hoping it’d give them both the push they seemed to need.
