“The pregnancy is sharpening your claws, Myra,” Vihaan pointed out. “You’re normally very sweet.”

“And you’re normally not dating—sorry, fake dating—my best friend,” Myra countered.

Tiya jumped off of her stool. “Enough, please.”

Taking Vihaan’s hand, she pulled him to the side. The music had grown considerably louder and the place had grown much more crowded in the one hour she’d spent with Myra already.

“Why are you really here, Vihaan?” Tiya asked. “I thought we are meeting over the weekend.”

He moved closer to her. His sexy, spicy perfume drifted over her. So rich. So intoxicating. His gaze coasted over her, skating down her bare shoulders in the short, strappy green dress, the long length of her legs, her flowing hair, and her skin scorched under his ardent appraisal.

Finally, he met her eyes. “I couldn’t sleep last night after you called, despite my long cold shower. When I heard that you were having dinner with Myra, I just had to come see you. The whole week seemed too long a wait to meet you, Tiya.”

Her mouth dried. “I…I…”

“Hi, Vihaan!” A smooth, accented voice interrupted them.

Vihaan moved slightly away to greet the tall, statuesque European looking woman. She spoke to him for a minute and then another replaced her. He spoke to her also warmly for a few seconds before returning to Tiya.

“You’re quite popular,” Tiya said.

“Tuesday nights here are rocking, and most of the crowd is regulars. And I spend a lot of time in my restaurants.”

He’d just finished saying that when another sexy, tall and beautiful blonde caught his arm.

“Hey, Vi,” the blonde gushed. “How are you, handsome? I haven’t met you in ages.”

“Bianca, hi.” He smiled at her.

The woman, Bianca, rubbed his bicep as she fluttered her eyelashes at him. Tiya snorted. So typical!

Immediately, Bianca’s blue-eyed gaze narrowed on her. The woman looked her up and down and then flicked her gaze away, dismissing her completely as she focused all her attention on Vihaan, whispering in his ear.

Her temper spiked. It annoyed Tiya to see this woman so familiar with him and that he wasn’t moving away from her was making her madder.

“Wanna meet me some place for some alone time?” Bianca whispered loud enough for Tiya to hear. “Remember the last time we were together and I…”

Vihaan cleared his throat. His dark eyes clashed with Tiya’s and he gave her a sheepish look. She wanted to hit him.

“Actually, he’s not going to meet you anywhere,” Tiya said. “He’s with me now.”

“You?” Bianca looked her over once again.

“Yes me. So, take your hand off what’s mine, and buzz off.”

“What?” the other woman stuttered.

Tiya tipped her nose. “You have one minute to go away or I’ll call security.”

The woman backed a step and then another before she disappeared into the crowd. Tiya crossed her arms over her chest. “Who was she?”

“Just one of the regulars.”

Irritation swept through her. “How many regulars here have you slept with,Vi?”

Vihaan winced. “I never claimed to be a saint. But I haven’t been with anyone since a long time now. Not since I laid eyes on you two months ago.”

Her heart stumbled.
