“Great. That’s all we need. For him to have more information on us.” Aaryan exhaled. “Did Rajiv see him?”

“No. He approached me after Rajiv left.”

“I shudder to think what might have happened had those two come face to face.” Aaryan pressed his temples. “Rajiv would have thrown him out of his club and that would bring about another war… One that is not needed at this time.”

“That asshole seems to find out everything about us,” Shaurya muttered. “I wish we could find the one person he cares for—his sister, Sanjana. He’s hidden her so well that we can’t seem to find her anywhere.”

“I wish we at least had a picture of her. Then we could search harder.” Vihaan stretched his arms over his head. “She could come in use if things get bad with Luthra. We could use her as leverage, if it ever comes to it.”

“I agree with you,” Shaurya accepted. “If we just know where to find her then we can use her—I don’t know how right now. What I do know is that we need to keep a track of our enemy’s weaknesses and so far, she’s the only weakness we know he has.”

“We are not like him or his father.” Aaryan shook his head. “I refuse to use an innocent in this fight.”

“And Avi wasn’t innocent?” Vihaan countered in agitation. “We weren’t innocent?”

Fuck! This had been a sore point between Aaryan and him ever since Luthra had moved to Dubai.

His twin’s face hardened. “This discussion is over.”

Once Aaryan set his mind on something, it was near impossible to move him. Vihaan dropped that part of the conversation for he had other things to worry about.

“He’s having Tiya followed, you know?” Vihaan sighed.

“What?” Shaurya gasped.

“The same car that was trailing you was waiting behind Tiya’s car today. They saw me hail a cab and followed me toPoseidonwhere I’d left my bike. Of course, by now they most probably think I live there or something. I’ve been usingPoseidonas my getaway and it’s worked so far. I just hate that he’s involved Tiya now.”

“This is on you!” Shaurya fumed. “I begged you to leave her alone, but do you ever listen?”

“Does Tiya know?” Aaryan asked. “You have to warn her.”

“I’m thinking what and how much to tell her.”

“You have to tell her something. Maybe not the entire truth, but some tiny part of why she’s having people follow her around. She needs to be careful.” Shaurya’s mouth tightened. “You will tell her within this week or I will. That is non-negotiable. She’s a friend and a good person. She deserves to know that she’s caught in something that could be potentially dangerous for her.”

Guilt formed a thick knot in Vihaan’s throat. She was in this situation because of him and he had to rectify this for her.

“I will tell her.”

“End this, Vihaan,” Shaurya seethed, “If she is just a means for you to try and buy her dad’s company, then whether we buy it or not, you need to end it as soon as you can.”

Vihaan lowered his chin in a nod. God! His life was all sorts of fucked up. He was lying to his brothers about the real conversation he had with Luthra. He didn’t know what to tell Tiya about the car trailing her and worse, he didn’t know what to do about the gamut of feelings he had for her. Feelings that refused to go away no matter how hard he tried.

“On the up side, we have something more to discuss with you,” Aaryan said, interrupting his inner diatribe. “Our Arab partner, Al Jarami, has invested in a huge real estate project, similar to Arabian Greens, in Kuwait and he wants us to work on it.”

Vihaan straightened. “Whoa! This is big news. It could be our entry into Kuwait.”

A sudden thought struck him. “Was this what you were talking about when we decided to buy a cement company for ourselves?”

“Yes, although at that time there was nothing concrete for me to tell you both,” Aaryan explained. “But now things are materializing and I need to travel with Al Jarami to Kuwait in the coming week to see the land first hand before we sign the contract. Myra’s already going over the terms.”

After quitting Dev’s company, Myra had joinedKeyStoneas their legal head. She was a proficient lawyer and had completely taken over their legal department, which, up until then, had been another thing on Shaurya’s plate.

“That sounds great,” Vihaan commented.

Shaurya leaned forward. “I’m going to be out of town as well next week. Myra wants to go meet her dad in Shimla to personally give him the news of our baby, and so we’re taking a few days off.”

“Just look after Avi and Neil,” Aaryan added.
