CHAPTERTEN
WILLIAM
It’s been two days and Susana hasn’t contacted me at all and I keep staring at Lex wondering what the fuck he did.
I can’t bring myself to ask, though, because I’m not sure I want to know.
“What are you thinking in that sexy head of yours?” he asks, quirking an eyebrow at me.
We’re naked in bed, my body covered in a sheen of sweat, still flushed red from the exertion of writhing underneath him.
It hasn’t grown old in the least. He could gently whisper his hands along me and I’d come.
I pull my swollen, well-kissed lips between my teeth and meet his stare.
“Nothing.”
He rolls his eyes and presses a kiss to my shoulder, nipping me lightly.
“Tell me, William. Don’t keep secrets from me.”
His hand is splayed across my stomach, smearing our mess into my skin. God, the things he did to me with his tongue.
“I was just thinking about Susana.”
His hand stills and he narrows his eyes.
“Is that so? What about her?”
I wet my lips and his gaze tracks the movement. He seems to want me just as much as I want him. When he’s on me, he’s ravenous, hungry for more. He can’t pull his body away from mine. I can sense the desperation in him.
“What did you do to her?” I ask softly, my hand moving up his bicep and cupping his neck.
“Do you really want to know?” he asks, throwing a leg over mine and propping his head in his hand. He glances down at me, his fingers drawing circles on my skin.
“I’m not sure.”
“Well, then let me just put it this way…she’s not dead. Not physically anyways. But she should be leaving you alone. In fact, she should be far, far away from here by now. Why? Has she contacted you?”
I shake my head, my fingers tugging on the strands of his silver hair.
“No.”
“Good, you let me know if she does, William. Because I’ll make her go away. No one hurts you. Ever.”
Ugh, why is that so sexy? I lean up and press my lips to his.
When we pull away minutes later, Lex flops onto his back.
“William, just so you know, you taste fantastic. You always do. Is this some kind of special mouthwash you use?”
