Willa watched as Beau threw cash on their table and they left the restaurant. Even from halfway across the room she could tell how furious the man. She was curious why Cain hadn’t shown up and decided to let her friends know too.
Willa: Cain never showed for breakfast. Bryant’s just left. Pissed.
Alex: Odd
Selena: Interesting
Mae: @ Lottie have you heard from Cain or Nova
Janie: Lots, you haven’t updated us much
Selena: Come to the resort tonight so we can all talk
Eve: I’ll be there
Willa: Aye
Mae: Can’t tonight
Janie: Be there later on
Willa went back to preparing the menu for the following week, hoping nothing serious had happened to make Cain stand the Bryant’s up and why Lottie wasn’t answering their texts.

Nova leaned back against the massive headboard in the suite’s bedroom. She’d never felt as satisfied, both physically and emotionally, as she did at that moment. She and Cain had always had a strong bond that she assumed came from their lifelong friendship, but she had never been attracted to anyone the way she was to Lottie. Initially, when Cain told her he had been helping Lottie and expressed his thoughts about how well they got along, Nova was at first concerned she was going to be jealous, but the feeling never came. Continuing their conversation, it was as if the idea of a polygamous relationship had hit them at the same time. They had friends in various kinds of poly relationships, they had never talked about it before, but Nova assumed there had never been anyone worth discussing. Until now.
Watching Lottie and Cain kiss in front of her for the first time was exhilarating and confirmation enough for her that they were on their true path. Letting Cain and Lottie undress her together while they each trailed kisses across her body was exquisite but the most intimate part of their morning activities was watching Cain as he sat back, next to Nova, one hand gently pinching her taut nipple, the other tangled in Lottie’s hair as she lapped up the velvety wetness. Shivers ran down her body as she replayed the morning over and over in her head. She trailed a hand down her stomach touching her warmth but stopped herself. She was already thinking about breaking one of their rules: no self-pleasure.
Wanting to check on Cain to make sure he was feeling as euphoric as she was, Nova got out the bed wrapping a sheet around herself. The bedding was in shambles, but it made her smile. Lottie was still in the shower so she would take the opportunity to talk to Cain alone.Wait, was that allowed? They had discussed things and decided they were all in this relationship. It wasn’t just she and Cain or she and Nova, or Nova and Cain, it was all three of them. Still, she was allowed to talk to Cain.
Pulling the balcony door open she stepped out into the glorious morning air, smiling at Cain.
“Hi,” she said.
“Hi,” Cain responded, pulling her closer and kissing her. After a few seconds he pulled back. “Uh oh, is this allowed?”
Nova giggled. “I was just thinking about that, but I don’t think this is on the ‘do not’ list.” She leaned into him just as Lottie, wrapped in one of the plush resort robes, walked onto the balcony. She kissed Nova first then Cain. Nova stayed leaning against Cain but wrapped an arm around Lottie as well. Tears filled her eyes. She felt fulfilled for the first time since she’d been turned. Possibly for the first time in her entire existence.
“What should we do today?” Lottie asked. “I don’t think it would be wise for us to be caught sunbathing in a cabana at the pool, but I’ve been through this area quite a few times, there are tons of fun things to do, beautiful places to see, and memorable hikes to go on. What’ll it be?”
Cain looked between his two women, the lust evident in his gaze. “A hike sounds good. I heard there was a great trail not far from here. Damnation Creek? I think there is a part that’s blocked off, but my research says you can bypass it.”
“I think Cain may love books more than you do,” Nova said to Lottie.
“A hike sounds amazing. I’ve been down Damnation Creek before.” Lottie leaned into Cain, kissing him slowly but pulled back before he could deepen the kiss. Then she pulled Nova close, wrapping her arms around the other woman and kissing her. “I’m going to run down to my room and change. Meet back here in fifteen minutes?”
“Sure,” Cain said while Nova nodded. She followed Lottie inside and watched while she pulled on jeans with no panties and slipped into her t-shirt without replacing her bra.
Nova swallowed. “Are you sure we should leave the room? We could lay around here, order room service…notget dressed.”
Lottie laughed. “We could, sweetheart, but we should probably work off some this tension.” Lottie pulled Nova against her, making sure to loosen the sheet so she could run her hand down Nova’s bare back as she kissed and nipped her neck. She bent, flicking her tongue against first one nipple then the other, watching as both perked up again. “Aww, I have to go but I’ll be back in a few minutes.” Lottie chuckled as she pulled away.
Nova growled in mock frustration, throwing herself on the bed without the sheet. “Are you sure?” she blinked innocently.
Lottie hesitated briefly but Cain walked in then. “Go on, Lots. Go get ready so we can get some exploring done. I can take care of Nova for a few minutes.” He winked as Lottie laughed, heading towards the door.
“Hey!” Nova sat up. “Why don’t you just grab all your stuff and stay with us?”
