Page 79 of Kissed By Her

“Dork,” she said as she pushed me up against the door and kissed me, making me forget all about secret knocks and getting caught and everything else but the intensity of her mouth on mine.

Honor’s hips drove into mine, increasing the pressure between my legs.

Never thought I’d be this fucking horny at work but here we were.

My hand slid down the front of Honor’s dress, and I pulled the hem up just a little as she let out a little moan. Honor was the first one to end the kiss as she stumbled backward from me.

“Sorry,” she gasped. “Sorry, I don’t think we should fuck at work.”

“Right,” I said, nodding and trying to catch my own breath. “That’s unprofessional.”

“Right,” she said, her pupils dilated with lust. Her hair was a little disheveled, so I pointed her in the direction of the bathroom that was attached. She went to finger-comb her hair.

“Your lipstick isn’t even smudged,” I said as I watched her.

“That’s why I like this brand,” she said, giving herself another once over and pulling her dress back down.

“Do I look like I’ve been making out?”

“No, I don’t think so,” I said.

She took a deep breath and let it out. “Good. I’m going back to work.”

“Wait,” I said as she passed me. She stopped and turned.

“Come to the beach with me tonight. You don’t have to wear a bathing suit or anything. We can just take a walk.”

“The beach in Castleton?” she asked.

“Yeah.”

Honor’s smile made my heart stop for a second. It was giddy and sweet.

“Sure,” she said before she pulled the door open and went back to Mark’s office.

I stayed in the guest room a little bit longer to get myself together.

After I pickedthe twins up and brought them back to Sadie’s, I made dinner for them and then sent Honor a message that I’d meet her at the beach in an hour. Sadie was doing inventory at the shop, so she’d stayed late and didn’t get home until after Riley and Zoey had eaten.

I handed them off to her and drove to Castleton.

There were still plenty of people at the beach, even though it was late.

I found Honor’s car parked further away from everyone else and parked my car right next to hers.

“Hey,” I said, getting out. She emerged from the driver’s seat wearing another faded t-shirt and jeans with her sneakers.

“You look really cute,” I said, going over to kiss her.

“Thanks. Every time I wear something like this, I know my mother is screaming with rage somewhere.”

“Your mom controlled what you wore?” I asked, and then I realized it was a silly question. Of course, she had.

“Oh yes. I was wearing designer clothes the minute I was born and if I hadn’t gone to private school with uniforms and other wealthy kids, I would have gotten mocked.”

“Oh, so you went to private school,” I said as we walked toward the sand. We sat down on a bench to take our shoes off so we could squish our toes in the sand.
