She smiled back at him. “I am just as blessed to have you. And I’m blessed to have Zara.”

He wanted her more now than ever. He pulled her half off the edge and grabbed at his pants. He nearly came undone as he moved.

He straddled her and filled her. He thought of their wedding and how beautiful she looked in her white dress. He thought about her in the kitchen dancing while she held Zara. He thought about her while she pushed Zara on the swings outside.

He looked at her now, coming undone by his cock, and knew she was his salvation.

She looked at him as they lay in bed, still naked after making love. “What would you want?”

He looked at her, confused. “What do I want for what?”

“A child.” She smiled, tilting her head. “Do you want a boy or a girl?”

He thought about it. He was so used to Zara and the gentleness that a girl required. He wouldn’t mind another daughter, but he also knew he wouldn’t mind a son.

“I don’t think I care, as long as they’re healthy.”

She smiled. “I agree, but it would be cute to have a son. I would love to know that she has another man looking after her when we get older.”

He smiled, suddenly liking the idea a lot. “I think that’s a lovely thought.” He hoped if they did have another, they would have a son at one point.

FIFTY

KIRSTEN

She sat in the truck now, flipping through the photos from the photoshoot they did just yesterday. She loved all of them. The photographer had snapped pictures of her and Zara sitting on a porch. She snapped pictures of Zara and Henry curled together. She even had some nice pictures of her and Henry.

She looked up at the cabin, watching as Henry handed the keys back to the manager of the place he went through for their booking. She wondered if he was going to miss this as much as she was.

They had done so much on their honeymoon. They had gone ice skating and moonlight walking. They watched an ice-skating show and even had a sled ride. The list seemed endless.

Henry turned back to the truck, and she looked back at the pictures. There was one of Zara in a reindeer outfit and another where she was sitting in fake snow. She smiled, feeling her heart warm.

I should send a few of these to Sher. She would love to have some photocopies of Zara where she is.

She made a mental note to mail some of them to her when they got home.

Henry opened his car door and hopped in. “Alright, are we ready to head home?” He looked in the rearview mirror, where Zara was looking at a toy. He smiled at her.

She thought about the week and the possibility that she could be pregnant. She’d lost track of how many times they had done it. It seemed endless, and she was a little sore.

They’d done it on the kitchen counter and in the living room. They did it in the bathroom and on the back porch. She knew they were both excited about the idea of another child. She was giddy with anticipation.

“The plane leaves in three hours?” she asked, wanting to make sure she was right.

He nodded. “Yeah, it gives us just enough time to get there and feed Zara before we need to get on the plane.” He shifted the car into drive and started to pull away. She looked at the cabin, wondering if they would ever come back.

Maybe we can make this a yearly thing. Have a family vacation in different places, like up in Alaska. They could invite Sher after she and Henry get a better bond built. She looked at him, loving the idea.

“What’s the first thing you want to do when we get home?” she asked, leaning back in her chair. She adjusted her seat. “I want to sit outside in the sun. As nice as this has been, there wasn’t a ton of sunlight.”

Henry chuckled at her, pulling his hand up and grabbing hers. “I want to sit outside in the sun as well. I agree with you. There wasn’t a lot of light.”

She chuckled at him, wondering if she was turning him into a sun lover like herself.

She smiled as she looked outside. “I look forward to a lot of things, but you know what I really look forward to?”

He glanced at her with a quizzical look. “What’s that?”
