It grew quiet for a long stretch. Phantom tossed me a few pre-made bags of weed for me to weigh on the scale.

“Then we’ll tighten security here,” said Phantom. “Post guards at the front of the school and along every inch of the perimeter as needed, including the dock.”

“But what about the student body?” asked Rhett. “People will start asking questions once they notice we’ve doubled down on the guards.”

“So what? We’re not obligated to tell them anything. What they don’t know won’t hurt them.”

“It’s not that simple. We can’t just—”

“So what the fuck do you propose we do then?” Phantom’s dark eyes narrowed harshly at Rhett. “Yeah, we can call our father, but we all know that he isn’t going to do anything other than tell us to stand down.”

“Unless…” I commented, pondering harder on the topic. A crazy as fuck idea popped in my head. It was a long shot, and it was recklessly dangerous. Knowing my brothers, it was unlikely they’d agree, but we had to try something.

“What if we can get eyes on the inside?”

It grew quiet again.

“You mean like a spy?” Rhett asked.

I nodded. “I mean, obviously it can’t be one of us because Damien and the rest of those bastards know our faces. And we can’t risk pulling any of our men from the streets because we need them there distributing our product. It’s a huge risk, but I think I know the right man for the job.”

“Who?” Rhett and Phantom asked as one solid voice.

“Damien’s kid.”

“You mean Jace Reyez?” Rhett blinked at me, flabbergasted. Phantom glared long and hard at me, but he didn’t put his two cents in. Not yet at least.

“Think about it. Phantom wasn’t there when we had that meeting, but you and I both saw how Jace acted that night when he introduced himself as Damien’s kid. The guy clearly detests his own father, so why not use that to our advantage? If we can flip him and get him on our side, he can feed us the intel we need on Damien’s whole operation.”

Rhett looked at Phantom then, raising his brows. “That’s actually a damn good idea.”

“And if he doesn’t agree?” Phantom questioned.

“Then we’ll fucking kill him,” I replied.

“Okay.” Phantom nodded his approval. “So, what’s your plan?”

“In order for this to work, we have to get Jace alone. All three of us will need to attend the Gentlemen’s club together. Despite Damien’s plot he won’t allow his people to turn us away if we’re there as paying customers.”

“And then what?”

“It can only be one of us. If all three of us try to approach him, it’ll draw suspicion. Our best bet is to lure him outside of the club, somewhere secluded where there aren’t any witnesses around.”

“Sounds good to me,” Rhett grinned.

“Fine,” Phantom growled. “I’ll go. But if anyone is getting him alone, it’s me. We can talk about this more later. We have shit to do so let’s hurry the hell up and get back.”

With the amount of product we had it would take way too long for us to bag all of it. So after taking the next fifteen or so minutes gathering as much as we could, we loaded it all up in one duffel and trekked back to the party.

It had to be just my fucking luck to spot Kinsley advancing fast in my direction, an ugly scowl on her face.

“We need to talk, Isaac.Now.”

Rhett snickered. Phantom rolled his eyes. Together they wandered away over to the tree stumps, leaving me and Kinsley alone. Her body vibrated with rage as she glared up at me.

“I want that bitch gone,” she sneered, aggressively flicking her wrist towards the DJ booth.

My eyes casually floated in that direction, where I found the new hottest piece of ass chatting it up with Sky and the DJ, Brian. I had to admit, Samara’s sense of style was gravely unorthodox. That was one thing she and Phantom morbidly had in common. Aside from that, she was truly an immaculate creature. A sinful mystery I implored to ravage bit by bit, all the way down to her mind, body, and soul.
