“That has to be your powers losing control thanks to whatever is going on. Keep it together, Griffyn!” I tell him.
Felix’s hands turn into fists as he lets out a low growl.
“My mate,” He says.
I’m not sure if that has to do with Griffyn probably wanting to fuck her right now or that she needs protecting, but I don’t get a chance to ask.
A mob of men joins us on the edge, surrounding us. They’re clearly underestimating the two of us, and I don’t mind at all.
I can see the magic forming in one of their hands as they glare at me. A different one shifts into a wolf, launching himself at Felix.
Felix only partially shifts, his claws and canines on display. He slashes the stomach of the wolf before throwing him across the room.
I know it will only escalate the scene, but there’s no calming it down anyway, so I release my darkness. It surrounds our attackers, sucking away all their oxygen and dropping them to the ground.
A ball of magic shoots out of the middle toward me, but it’s weak and slow. I easily step out of the way. A minute later, they all pass out.
“Updates. Now,” I demand. We got distracted, and I’m unsure if I’ve missed anything.
“There’s fighting by us. We are taking cover now for protection and to remain under the radar,” Griffyn says.
It’s the right answer, but his voice is strained. He’s struggling.
It feels impossible to reign in my powers, and Felix keeps his claws out. Whatever this is, it’s built for supernaturals. The best thing we can do is make it stop.
“Blaze?” I ask.
His response is only a grunt.
“He’s being affected too. He’s still destroying his opponent,” Griffyn says.
I try looking toward the center, but it’s impossible to see Blaze behind the unruly crowd.
“Quit moving, Vixen.” Griffyn’s voice is strained. It’s followed by a soft moan that makes my cock twitch.
Felix looks in the direction of the cage like he’s about to join them, but I grab his arm and attention.
“This happened when the guy came in. It’s either him or from the hall he came from. Let’s find the source.”
He gives me a tight nod, and we head off.

“Something’s going on,” Felix says through the comms.
“What is it?” Blaze asks.
The distraction costs him, and he takes a hit to his side, grunting into the earpiece before attacking again.
It looks like he’s trying to put an end to things.
“Someone came in and started fights all around him. It seems to be his goal. Everyone needs to watch out,” Aksel says.
A second later and I see what he means. Everyone is turning to the person next to them and trying to kill them.
I want to rip the spine out of the guy who crashes into me, but Griffyn tugs me closer, stealing all my attention. My fangs drop, cutting my lip as I look up into his eyes to see they’re glowing red as they shine down at me.
