“Gavin,” she started.

He leaned down and kissed her. “The New Year is a few months away, but I’m making my resolution now. I will love you until the day I die.”

Amber’s eyes filled with tears. Did she dare hope?

His fingers traced her neck. “I’ve loved you from the day I met you.”

“That was over five years ago.”

“It was. You were in my heart from day one.”

“I love you too.”

Gavin grinned. “So when are we getting married?”

“You’re not asking me?” There was laughter in her voice.

“No. We belong together.”

“Maybe we do.”

“I know we do.”

“Doesn’t mean I’m not going to make you work for it. I’m worth the effort.”

“You most certainly are.”

EPILOGUE

“Where are we?”Amber asked as Gavin pulled down a long driveway to a lit up parking area and a large house.

“A surprise.” He parked and helped her from the vehicle. “I promise you’ll love it.”

She wasn’t sure, but she trusted Gavin. In the four months they’d been together, she learned more about him, and she trusted him with her heart and body. He pushed open the doors with WS inscribed on it.

“Gavin, welcome.” A dark haired man walked up to them.

“Max.” Gavin shook his hand. “This is Amber.”

“Amber.” His dark gaze enveloped her. “She’s as beautiful as you said she was. If you’ll sign in and change, you can join us.”

“Thank you. I appreciate you giving me the opportunity to show Amber a new world.”

“Of course.” Max retreated.

Gavin turned to the desk and signed them both in. Amber glanced around. It looked like any normal reception area. But where were they? Was this some sort of club? While she and Gavin had talked about kink outside the house, she wasn’t sure if she was ready for public exposure.

“Thanks.” Gavin turned to her. “Let’s go.” He guided her down the hallway. “Ladies room. I know you’re dressed appropriately under your street clothes.”

“You made sure of that.” Was this why he insisted on the sports bra and boy shorts? Amber gazed up at him. “I’m not sure I’m ready for this.”

“You’ll be fine.” He kissed her. “Trust me.”

Her heart melted. “With my whole heart.” She slipped into the bathroom. There was a woman waiting for her who showed her how to use the locker. When Amber strolled out, Gavin was waiting for her. Her mouth watered.

He was wearing a pair of black cotton pants, loafers, and no shirt. Her man was built, and she couldn’t wait until they were alone. “Hold your right hand up, please.”

She did, and he put a purple and white band on her wrist. She noticed he was wearing a blue one. “What is this for?”
