"Don isn't as friendly as I am Jolly. You know that." He takes the scarf between his fingers, staring at the design. "He's probably more upset about the scarf though. Are you picking the Snowman then? Can I at least get a Christmas kiss?" He leans into me, his forearm pressed on the door propping him up.

"So the angry growling guy was Donner?" I ask not addressing the other questions because I can’t think with him this close.

"The one and only. Did you really fancy his car too? I have a red one just like it. Did you know that?" I shake my head at him confused and he frowns at me.

The pounding on the door makes me jump in his arms. He catches me and when our faces are close, I go for it. I taste peppermint when his tongue meets mine and it makes me moan. Our tongues roll over each other in a smooth gliding motion. I pull him closer to me because it feels so good. He picks me up again and I wrap my legs around his waist as my back hits the door.

"Blitzen open this fucking door now."

Oh that's not Donner!

I instantly pull away after hearing the deep rumble through the door. It calls to my soul and orders me to listen to him. There's just something about Saint that I can’t describe. You're on your best behavior when you know Santa's watching.

I kiss Blitz one last time and make it good since he won’t put me down. He grins at me then bends to sniff my neck. "You smell like sugar plums."

“No I don’t.” I giggle when his mouth tickles my neck and then gasp as I hear the cursing from the other side of the door.

"I'll let you go if you promise that wasn't our last kiss." He leans towards me again with his lip hovering above mine. He’s testing me and daring me to kiss him again.

Of course, I grab his face and kiss him once more. He groans when I start wiggling and puts me down. He even lets me push him out of the way to unlock the door. I've recently grown a backbone apparently and I’m not going back.

I try being sassy with the man in charge when I open the door. "Hey there Saint, I didn’t know you were here. Sorry I didn’t listen to you about Donner. Am I on the naughty list now?" Okay that was pretty cheesy and I haven't even been drinking. I’m not great at flirting with attractive men obviously.

His eyes narrow at me briefly before he steps around me and pulls Blitz out by his collar. Saint whispers something to the other man before pushing him away. Blitz turns around and walks backwards blowing me a kiss before running off.

“I don't know. Are you Joyful?” My head whips to Saint because I hear the disappointment in his tone. “Why are you picking on Don like that?” Is he actually serious? He looks after Blitz with a worried expression.

“Why would he be so mad? It's only a name and I was hardly picking on him.” I didn’t even know it was Donner so I'm not going to feel bad.

He starts walking back to our lanes and I follow next to him. People call his name and he waves forcing a happy smile on his face. The place isn't packed but it’s not empty either. A group of kids race by us laughing and I feel embarrassed for causing a scene here. I wring my hands together and look around as we get closer to our party.

"Why are you acting all shy now? Everyone in our town is a good person. You can’t own land here unless it’s approved by the board. North Pole is a fine place to live, just as good as the big city." He growls the last part and then swiftly clears his throat. "Maybe this is too much for your first night. Are you staying with Rudy or at the old cabin?" He's watching my reaction closely and all I’m thinking is...his dark beard is so sexy.

“Wait a second. What old cabin? Does it have running water? That's the only thing that matters to me." I don't want to use an outhouse. Oh, and, “Electricity would be a must too. Please, I can't do candles.” Do I sound ungrateful for the hospitality?

The frown between his eyebrows deepens and I feel so comfortable that I run my finger over his skin there. He grabs my wrist then brings my hand to his mouth. I gasp when he kisses my palm gently and his green eyes stare at me. A scene flashes through my mind.

"Will you hold this kiss for me?" The little boy says grinning at the little girl.

I shake my head and the vision disappears. He kisses it again and I giggle, pulling my hand back.

"I think a few more days with Rudy is a better idea." He says before continuing to walk without me. The smile he sends me over his shoulder is full of secrets and authority. I can't help watching his butt shamelessly.

"I agree with Saint." I'm startled when the mysterious man in white steps away from the wall. His blue eyes are bright and his face is still mostly covered. You can also see his beautifully shaped eyebrows that any woman would envy. "You should get to know everyone and settle in. That old place can be overwhelming at first." He strolls to me and the cold comes with him. Iceman bumps me with his shoulder playfully, acting nothing like the man I met last time.

I shiver from the cold and the man while giving him a big smile. “Well if it isn't the man who watched me fall.” What is wrong with me? Why would I remind him of my drunken behavior?

I'm pinned with those blue eyes before he looks down at my shoes. "No slick boots today, though those aren't much better." He matches my pace effortlessly when I walk off looking at my shoes. "There's nothing wrong with them, just a little dangerous on ice." He coughs and it sounds forced. "I'm starting early tomorrow. Do you want to go with me?"

"Frost, let's wait on that." Saint says as we approach where he's waiting for us.

“Why? No one else is waiting.” Iceman sends daggers at Saint then he touches my scarf. His stare is so intense that I can’t look away. “She's wearing this too." He wraps the scarf in his hand tightly and brings me closer to him.

I’ve read too many smutty books because I just want him to choke me with it during sex. "Go where?" Pops out of my mouth before I can stop it.

Iceman chuckles with happiness and grins at me. "We'll talk about it later. Let's bowl now before Saint breaks something.”

"Oh I haven't seen him that mad. Is it bad? I have noticed he is moody." I lean in acting like I'm whispering but actually talking at a normal level.
