However, I spy the tent in his sexy tight uniform pants. I raise my eyebrows looking down at his crotch laughing at the liar. He glances at me, follows my gaze and covers himself embarrassed that I saw his true feelings. These guys can definitely boost a woman’s confidence when they're around.

The ray of sunshine that runs up to us is frazzled and in a panic. "What the french horn are you all doing out here? A couple of the parents were calling the school because they thought the Reindeers were arresting kids." He looks at me then runs a hand through his already tamed hair. "Hi Joy, it's nice to see you again." Bud shyly tells me but he gives a stare full of authority to all the men around me. He answers his ringing phone, sighing deeply. "I already know… Right now?” He looks up at me then to the guys. “Saint wants to know why you guys don’t listen to him."

"I told them it was a bad idea but no one wants to take my advice." Don growls at all of us while shaking his head disapprovingly. He's acting all grumpy like he'd rather be anywhere else. I decide to mess with him more by sticking my tongue out. His warm brown eyes go wide and I giggle again. He lifts his hand up, shaking his fist at me. “Keep it up and see what happens.”

Bud’s head snaps to Don and he hangs up the phone narrowing his eyes. "Are you threatening Joy, Don?" Suddenly, he’s flabbergasted and appalled, waving his arms in the air. “Please tell me the cuffs are sexual or I’m going to lose my shit.” The sweet shy man starts loosening his tie and opening top buttons like Superman.

I wonder what secret identity he has?

"Oh, it was going to be until the dorky principal came along.” Blitz says and he high fives Iceman. He turns to me with a flirty grin. “Let me get those off Jo, hold still." The cuffs unlock then open quick and easy.

I lift my arms over my head to help with blood flow and to stretch the strain the position caused. The tingling feeling reminds me of them and I rub my legs together. Blitz kisses my neck again and so does Iceman like they know. The difference between warm and cold gives me goosebumps. I giggle as they both try tickling my sensitive spot at the same time.

Bud slowly walks up the stairs watching us closely. I wink at him and he ducks his head shyly, turning me on even more.

I hear a whistle then turn to see Don waving me over to him. He’s still on the ground looking up at the bridge. Without a second thought I go to him.

"Do you trust me, Jolly?" He holds out his arms waiting for me to decide. I can tell he's worried about my response by the forced smile.

Technically, I'm not high at all so it's no biggie and my answer seems important to him. I slip through the ropes and jump in his muscled arms. He catches me effortlessly grinning at me like I gave him a present. I wrap my arms around his neck and hold on tight.

"Jolly my girl." He says tenderly kissing my head, surprising me. Don begins spinning in a circle going faster as he turns. We eventually fall down laughing in the snow when he gets dizzy.

I glance up and all three guys are looking down at us smiling. Don and I look at each other and just like that I know what he's thinking. We begin launching snowballs at them seconds later starting a huge war.

"We gotta get back. This was a lot of fun, Jolly." Don grins wickedly at me then his face becomes serious. He glances down then back at me. "Sorry I snapped at you like that at the bowling alley. I know my little dance didn’t make up for that. It was just a lot for me."

I drop the snowball, nodding, and smile at him. "I appreciate the apology but I’m not too sure about that. Have you seen yourself in a mirror? That uniform is doing wonders for my memory too. Thanks for stopping by, officer." I say flirtatiously, batting my eyelashes at him.

He stares down at my sweatshirt and smiles bigger. "I love the reindeer hoodie by the way." His finger runs down my chest to point at the image on it. He grabs the front of my sweatshirt in a firm grip and pulls me closer to him. My heart stops with his lips above mine. "Want to come to work with us too?" Then he kisses me ever so softly just once before moving away. He takes the pine tree scent with him.

My eyes open reluctantly and I sigh staring at him picturing his shirt off. "Sure, but it's not dangerous, right?"

He shakes his head and takes my hand as we walk to his patrol car. "No, we'll protect you, and I'm really glad you said yes.”

The other guys shout racing towards us, pushing each other to win. They all go down in a wrestling pile of flying limbs.

I huff, not caring about being a nag and spoiling the fun. "Knock it off, someone's going to get hurt."

“Let's go Blitz, we get her next." That comment sends a flood to my center. Don winks at me before kissing my hand and walking away. "Think about what you want to bet on tonight’s game, Jolly." He calls over his shoulder and I hear the confidence in his tone.

"Have a good rest of your day and be safe out there." I yell after him smiling. I'm not normally competitive so maybe I'll just let him win.

"Awesome!" Blitz shouts, sprinting up to me delighted with the news. He smacks my butt before running off to follow his brother. After he climbs in his SUV, he sticks his head out the window. "See you tonight Jo!"

The twins use their sirens quickly to say goodbye then take off down the street.

I wave laughing at their antics and get excited thinking about tonight. The clearing throat behind me has me spinning on my toes.

"Well, I'm going to roll out too. The kids get out in forty minutes and I should probably be there. You have a good arm." Bud steps closer rubbing his ear staring at me. It's still really red and I feel horrible for hitting him. I reach for it but he grabs my hand holding it in his. "It's fine, don’t worry. I was only teasing you."

"I feel really bad. I didn't think you would pop your head out like that." I can hear the regret and whine in my voice. I wouldn't have thrown it had I known he was over there. It was supposed to be cover fire for Don’s attack

"You can make it up to me by playing on my team tonight." Bud laughs awkwardly, looking down at his tie and not meeting my eyes.

I think he's scared of my reaction to that comment. "Alright team mate, if that will make you feel better." The cheerful grin on my face is evident in my voice and he glances at me again. My guilt disappears as the beautiful smile spreads.
