“Okay then. Well,” Inferna said, sliding down onto the couch cushion between her mates. “I guess the next question is what are we calling this company.”

Everyone was silent for a moment and then Mich leaned forward. “Would it be amiss to call it Omega Inc.?”

The room was silent for a moment and then Billy snorted. “Honestly, that’s pretty fitting.”

“Can’t complain,” Art chuckled.

Inferna smirked. “It does work considering everything, hmm.” She looked down at Calen, and his cheeks turned pink.

“I think it sounds good,” Lea said, grinning. “Although maybe something like Omegasync sounds more app-like.”

Everyone made an ‘ooh’ sound.

“I like that,” I said with a grin.

“Me too,” Inferna said. “Well, Omegasync it is then.”

“Omegasync Inc.,” Billy snickered.

“Catchy,” Anne laughed.

Alex let out a soft hum and I looked up at him. He wore a soft smile, a slightly sleepy one. I could feel the warmth coming from him, a comforting wave.

All of us were exhausted. This week had been a whirlwind, while also being the longest week of my life.

A knock at the door had us all turning. Charlie got up, going to the door and bringing the twenty boxes of pizza that were delivered inside with his tentacles like it was nothing.

My mouth immediately watered.

“Okay, well,” Inferna said. “Pizza and then we can reconvene.”

Everyone got up and Anne went to the kitchen to help Charlie, pulling down a stack of plates.

I looked up at Alex again and he looked down, winking at me. I caught the faint scent of his heat and let out a soft growl.

“Hey,” he chuckled. “Not here. Not yet.”

“Soon,” I said, wrapping my arms around his waist.

He pressed his cheek to the top of my head, holding on to me as our mate helped the pizza chaos.

“I love you,” I whispered.

“I love you too,” he said, tipping my face up. “More than you know. I am very thankful for you and Anne, and that you were willing to give me a chance.”

Anne came back to us, holding two plates with pizza. “Eat up, you too. I want sex after everyone leaves.”

Alex immediately blushed and I heard Inferna bark out a laugh from the kitchen.

Well, if Omegasync happened, it would certainly be fun.

By the time we all finished pizza, talked some more, and then everyone left for their own homes— it was well into the afternoon. Inferna, Art, and Calen were the last ones to leave.

“We’ll talk Tuesday,” Alex said, giving her a hug. “Thank you for everything.”

“Thank you,” she said. “Thank you for using your magic on the building. Many more would have been hurt.”

Alex nodded, and we watched as the three of them left.
