We both looked up and I raised a brow, keeping Sylvia in my lap.

Anne smirked. “I think that’s an HR violation.”

“I think it is too,” I said.

They both giggled and then Anne moved inside, slamming the door shut behind her.

Oh, there was that too.

There was an open door policy and a closed door policy at our little company.

Closed door policy meant that you turned around and walked the other way.

The walk of shame here was a lot more fun.

“I have some work for you,” Anne said, coming around the desk and sitting up on the top.

“Oh yeah?”

“We both do,” Sylvia said. “Some very hard work for you.”

I grinned at both of them and raised a brow. “Well, let’s get to it then.”

With that, the three of us had a very productive meeting, and ended our workweek with a bang.
