Rain had begged me to come out for Halloween and I’d met her somewhere in the middle by telling her to come with me to my company event. DeLuca Tech was throwing its usual Halloween rager. This was the one time of year Sebastian let his employees act like fraternity students and get so drunk they had to take a company car home or a rideshare provided by the company. The first Mrs. Sebastian DeLuca had loved the holiday so much that she’d made it a big deal at the company and we’d never stopped celebrating.
Naturally, I’d planned this even event too but I didn’t have to throw in as many details. After planning it for the last few years, I could navigate any issues with a snap of my wrist or a phone call.
Shaking my ass, I marveled at the way the cat suit clung to me.
I’d decided to be Catwoman, Michelle Pfeiffer’s version of the character, complete with a whip but minus the mask. The sleek black body suit belonging to the antihero with nine lives had all my curves popping from my breasts to my ass.

Satisfied that I looked just slutty enough, I gathered up my whip and locked up my apartment tight.
Rain met me at the entrance to DeLuca Tech’s event hall. My sister was dressed like a slutty Alice in Wonderland. The white stockings went up her long legs disappearing underneath the skirt. Her lips had been painted a brilliant red. The music was already thumping so loud I could feel the vibrations in every step I took.
“Oh shit, look at you!” Rain gushed and I wanted to hide my face.
“Stop,” I told her.
“You did always have a body,” she shrugged before hooking her arm with mine.
There were so many people at this event and most of them seemed to already be drunk. The DJ was mixing Beyonce and Mary J Blige and had me wanting to drag Rain to the dance floor immediately.
“Any chance we’re gonna see lover boy?” Rain hollered over the music.
The thought had crossed my mind but only briefly. There would be too many people and he’d want to avoid interactions like the plague. Mason Stone Zacchara liked the shadows; people pulled to much energy out of him.
That was why he loved that cabin in Alaska so much. He could be completely off the grid there and no one would be the wiser that he was existing in the world.

We were trying to find and empty table when Brie spotted me and waved me over. My boss’s cute soon-to-be wife was dressed in a French maid costume and I just knew Sebastian was going to have a field day with her tonight. Her friends were sitting at a table with her. Sugar skulls and fairy lights were sprinkled over the table top casting eerie light upon their faces. A half empty bottle of wine and glasses were waiting as well. Rain immediately poured herself a glass.
“Hi,” Brie gave me a kiss on either cheek.
Introductions were made and I re-learned her friend’s names and they learned my sisters.
“Everything turned out so nice,” Brie smiled. “You did such a wonderful job on this…”
“And the engagement party!” Jo smiled. She was an Afro-Latina woman who was dressed as a slutty nurse. Elsa, who had white blonde hair was literally dressed like the Frozen character. I had to laugh inwardly.
“Until that hot guard guy punched out the old man,” Elsa chimed in.
“Oh my God,” I covered my face out of embarrassment.
“I’m team Mason,” Rain shrugged pulling a glass of wine up to her lips.
“Oh really?” Jo asked.
Rain nodded, as she nursed the wine. “He beat up my ex. So if Mason punched a motherfucker they deserved it.”
“Can we like…not talk about this?” I asked.
Everybody started to give me looks and I literally didn’t care. They started to discuss Mason and that was when my sister started volunteering details about his pierced dick.
Jo, Elsa, and Brie let out a collective gasp.
“I’m gonna go get something from the bar,” I said embarrassment settling into my skin.
Nobody even noticed or cared. They were enamored with my sister and the details of my sex life. Rolling my eyes, I moved through the party goers and leaned up against the bar.
