“I want to walk into the kitchen and see you standing there, round with my child. I want to come up behind you, slip one hand underneath your nightgown and another in your panties, and I want to make you come so hard with just my fingers you have to grip the counter to catch yourself. I want to be in that large tub, and I want you to climb on top of me, take me into your body and use me for your pleasure. I want you so happy and thoroughly fucked and sated you don’t ever remember when we didn’t have this.”

“Duke,” I whispered.

He pressed the heel of his hand against my cleft and rubbed me quickly into a consummate orgasm.

“Say yes, Willa.”

“Yes.”

Duke slid the ring onto my finger and then brought it to his lips. He kissed my knuckles, his gaze heated.

His phone buzzed in his pocket.

“Interrupted so soon,” I said with a mock frown.

“It’s Savage,” he replied with a grin. He pressed a button. “You’re on speaker phone.”

“You seal the deal?” Savage demanded.

“Damn right I did,” Duke said, looking like the cat that got the canary…and the cream.

“Good. We’re at O’Reilly’s. Come meet us so we can celebrate.”

“Us?” I asked.

“Me and Waverly,” Savage said. “Hurry up.”

He hung up. I looked at Duke. “That little sneak.” I shook my head and grinned. “She pretended not to know where my phone was.”

“She knew all. I even sent her pictures of rings while I was shopping so she could help me choose the right one for you.”

“You didn’t.”

“I did.”

He closed up the workshop, and we headed back into the house.

“What do we do about the candles and clovers?” I asked.

“We blow out the candles, and then I text Crow to get over here with South Paw and clean it all up.”

“Prospects. Poor suckers.”

“They’re about to become brothers,” he said. “They’ve put in the time and hard work. Proven their loyalty and put up with some bullshit so we could make sure they were in it for the long haul. They’re good guys, and they won’t be doing bitch work for much longer.”

“They are good guys,” I agreed.

After blowing out the candles, we left the house and stood at his bike. I took a moment to really admire my ring.

“Do you like it? If you don’t, I’ll get you something else.”

I placed my hand to his cheek and stared into his eyes. “I love it.”

“Yeah?”

“Yeah.”

“I worried it might be too traditional.”
