I exit my bathroom, freshly showered with a towel wrapped around my waist, hair still dripping wet. After the disappointing loss today, I'm ready to relax for the night and tune out from reality, when I hear a knock at the door. It's just after eight. Who could it be at this hour on a Sunday? I throw on a T-shirt and check the peephole to find a fidgety-looking Andy leaning up against the wall. Since it's just her, I open the door.

"Hey, pretty girl, this is a pleasant surprise." I smile, surprisingly happy to see her. We didn't speak a word to each other after the game today. Neither of us happy with the result, we went our own separate ways. But I'm glad she's here now.

"Sorry, yeah, I should have called or something. Do you normally answer the door in a towel?" She smirks.

"Not unless there is a really pretty girl waiting on the other side of it."

She offers me a small smile, then drops her head. "I have to talk to you about something." She wrings her hands in front of her. "But you might have to put clothes on or I won't be able to concentrate."

"Okay, this sounds interesting." I stand back so she can come in. She looks worried, and I wonder what could be the matter. It's only been a few hours since we landed back in LA. What has happened in that time? "Make yourself at home, I'll just get dressed." I rush into my room and throw on a pair of pants and a T-shirt.

When I come back, I take a seat on my couch next to Andy, and she tucks her legs up under her, getting comfy. "Okay, so I have to just tell you because my tummy is in knots."

"What is it, Andy? You're starting to worry me."

"The girls know." She looks at me, her eyes all wide and scared.

"They know what?"

She motions between us. "About what's going on here."

I sit up in my seat a bit straighter. "Which girls, like the whole team?" I ask, the concern more obvious in my voice than I want it to be. But fuck, if the entire team knows, that's it for me.

"No, just the ones I live with." She nibbles her bottom lip. "I'm so sorry, I know we agreed to keep this just between us. But after we got back today, Darcy and I had a big fight. She was super pissed at me, said I was being all secretive and that's why we lost. I had to tell her. We're usually really close, we tell each other everything, and it was starting to cause a problem with our relationship, and I don't want to that. I love those girls, they mean everything to me. I'm so sorry, though, because I know it puts you in a shitty situation, and if you want whatever this is to stop because of it, it's okay. I just can't sneak around behind my friends' backs anymore."

I feel relief wash over me. This situation we can handle. I pull her closer to me so she's sitting on my lap. She gazes up at me with pretty pale blue eyes, and I find myself getting even more sucked under her spell by the second. "Andy, this is far from over. It's not ideal that your roommates know, but I was pretty sure they already had a good idea about it after the night we met. Then, of course, your birthday. Just as long as they know not to tell anyone else, I'm sure this will all be fine."

"They do. They won't say a thing. They don't want to lose you as a coach either."

I run my hand up the side of her face, my fingers threading through her hair and pulling her toward me, our lips meeting. She kisses me like her life depends on it, wrapping her arms around me and hugging her body close to mine. I get the impression she thought I was going to tell her this was over.

"There is one good thing about all your roommates knowing."

"Oh yeah, what's that?" She smirks.

"You won't have to rush off tonight."

I see the sparkle in her eyes. She wants this just as much as I do. "You want me to stay?" Her voice is happy, excited even.

"Only if you want to."

Her lips are back on mine, and that's all the answer I need. I scoop her up and carry her into my bedroom. Throwing her down on the mattress, she giggles loudly.

I wakeup with Andy in my arms, her soft pale blonde hair tickling my chin, her chest rising and falling with shallow breaths under my hold, and it feels like this is where she should be. In my home, in my life. This girl was made for me and me for her.

After everything I went through with Madeline, I really didn't think I would be able to move on this quickly and start to have real feelings for someone, but I do. Andy is refreshingly honest, fun, and sexy as hell. How could I not be falling for her? She says she doesn't want anything real or permanent, that she made that choice after having her heart broken by her high school boyfriend, but she's not acting that way with me. She's opening up to me and letting me in. It didn't take anything at all to persuade her to stay last night. She is here with me because she wants this just as much as I do, and now that her friends and sister know about us, it's going to make it easier for us to spend time together.

She rolls over in my arms and smiles up at me sleepily.

"Morning, my beautiful girl." I kiss her forehead.

"Morning. Do you know what the time is?" she asks.

I check my phone. "Six."

She goes to roll out of my grip, and I pull her on top of me. "Where do you think you're going?"

She giggles, sitting up, her legs coming to either side of me. How anyone could look this perfect when they just wake up, I will never know, but she is stunning. Her long hair falling over her shoulders and framing her face. Her pale blue eyes bright, a light blush over her cheeks. She runs her hand through my hair playfully. "Brad, I have to go home and get ready for practice. I don't have any of my gear here, remember. And I don't want to be late, my coach is a real asshole when I am."
