Taylor blushed. He wasn’t used to feeling so unsure of himself.

Come on.

Man up.

You’re a Daddy Dom for God’s sake…

‘I was wondering whether instead of unpacking here, you might like to unpack it at my place,’ Taylor said, a new authority in his voice as his charm and confidence returned. ‘There’s no pressure. I’m happy to have you in my life either way. But I want you to know that my home is yours too. If that’s what you would like, of course.’

Taylor felt his heart thumping hard. This was a big moment for him. In all his years he had never formally invited a Little to live with him, and now here he was, waiting on bated breath for an answer.

But Taylor didn’t have to wait long.

In fact, Bodie’s answer was more or less immediate…

‘Yes! I say yes!’ Bodie squealed, jumping up and down in delight. ‘You’ve made every one of my dreams come true, Daddy!’

Taylor couldn’t help but get wrapped up in the emotion of the moment. He could see that his offer meant just as much to Bodie as it did to him.

‘You can make changes too,’ Taylor said. ‘I want it to feel like a perfect Daddy and Little home. Seriously, you can call a designer. Do the work yourself. Whatever you prefer. I want you to feel like you’re at home. YourForever Homein fact.’

Bodie ran over to Taylor with a look of sheer glee on his face. He jumped up into Taylor’s arms and the pair of them kissed.

For Taylor, this was shaping up to be the best day. But there was still one thing on his mind. Amongst the drama of the situation with Nigel, the small matter of the town council’s deliberations over the future of Cape Daddy had been swept to one side.

But Taylor new it was an issue that wouldn’t go away for long.

And that was where Bodie could come in…

‘How would you like to work for the Cape Daddy Council?’ Taylor said, putting Bodie down.

‘Huh? How do you mean?’ Bodie replied, a puzzled look on his face. ‘I’m no politician!’

‘No, I mean as part of the group working on promoting Cape Daddy,’ Taylor said. ‘Think about it. We could use your big city PR skills to put Cape Daddy out there in the world while at the same time keeping control of our own affairs. That’s my vision for the town. We can be modern and welcoming, but we alwaysneed to be keeping our hands on the wheel. Like the sound of that?’

It made total sense to Taylor.

As far as Taylor was concerned, Bodie was a super-smart and diligent worker who had a great heart. He was everything that Cape Daddy needed. But of course, Taylor knew that Bodie may not want to give up his job.

‘That sounds incredible!’ Bodie said, his face full of joy. ‘I was kind of done with my old place to be honest. Even though Nigel quit, I wasn’t so keen on being reminded of him in some way every time I logged on to my work emails, you know?’

Taylor nodded. Bodie had been very brave in getting over the drama with Nigel, but it was understandable that he wanted to ditch any memory of him.

‘Shall I call work to inform them?’ Taylor said, not wanting to put Bodie through any more stress.

‘No, Daddy. I’ll do it,’ Bodie said. ‘I may be a Little, but I can be a big boy too. This will be my final victory over Nigel.’

Taylor felt himself swell with pride.

Taylor could see that his boy was as sweet as sugar, but Bodie had backbone too. And he would need it when dealing with the various stubborn characters he’d meet at the town council too! But that was for another time. Right then in that moment, Taylor could only reflect on what was turning out to be a perfect day.

‘I think we’re going to be alright, kid,’ Taylor said, taking a look around the room and the many, many boxes. ‘But perhaps we should call on some friends to help us out with this?’

Bodie giggled as Taylor got out his phone and dialed up for some Daddy assistance.

‘Ryder, we’re going to need your truck,’ Taylor said, a wry smile on his face. ‘No, not that one. We’re going to needThe Beast.’

‘The Beast?’ Bodie said. ‘That sounds scary!’
