Taylor laughed. Ryder had a collection of trucks for his wood business.The Beastjust happened to be the biggest of them all.
‘How about you call your Little friends and tell them to bring some supplies,’ Taylor said. ‘I think with us Daddies doing all the heavy lifting we might want some freshly made lemonade!’
Bodie giggled with delight and set about contacting Kane and Cody.
Taylor let out a long, satisfied sigh.
Never mind lemonade, life in Cape Daddy was looking just peachy – and he had his perfect boy Bodie to thank for it.
Chapter 11
A couple of months later and Taylor’s house was looking different. Well it would do, seeing as it was now TaylorandBodie’s home.
Bodie had taken Taylor up on his offer and done the refurb himself. Well, as much of it as he could handle along with some help from Cody and Kane. Bodie had certainly discovered a love of gardening that he never knew he had…
‘Weeeee! Faster! Higher!’ Bodie called out, the feeling of being pushed back and forth on his new swing set filling him with happiness.
‘Hey, is it my turn yet?’ Cody replied, sending Bodie higher with each push.
‘Yes! I’ll get off now and push you!’ Bodie replied, more than happy to accommodate his friend.
As Bodie pushed Cody in the swing, he looked around the garden. With Taylor’s permission, he had made a special Little-focused segment of the garden that was all about playtime, fun, games and just about any kind of Little mischief that him and his friends could come up with.
And this was exactly what was happening that day. Bodie, Cody, and Kane were all in their favorite romper suits and even had diapers on underneath. It was fun being in their Littlespace garden – so much fun that the diapers seemed like a good idea just in case anyone had an accident!
As Kane took over pushing Cody on the swing, Bodie took a step back and watched as Taylor and his Daddy friends relaxed in the new bar area that overlooked the Littlespace Garden.
Taylor is so handsome.
Perfectly perfect in every way.
And he’s my Daddy!
Bodie swooned at the sight of Taylor having fun with his friends. The Daddies were watching college football on the big projector screen and things were getting competitive as they bet on the outcome amongst themselves.
They were typical Daddies!
Bodie also noticed that Cody was glancing over toward Ryder. The two of them wereverydifferent. Cody was a party boy with not a care in the world, whereas Ryder was about as serious and mysterious as you could get. But who knew what might happen in the future?
A little later and there was a real party vibe going on at Bodie and Taylor’s home. Everyone was having fun and the place was full of Daddies and Littles having the best time.
‘Daddy, I think it’s time,’ Bodie said, holding Taylor’s hand. ‘I think it’s time that you make your big announcement.’
Taylor smiled.
This was something that he had been building up to, with Bodie’s help. Taylor had never felt so contented in his personal life, but Bodie knew that this was something Taylor had to do.
‘Come on, get on with it!’ Chopper called out, downing his beer and crushing the metal can in his hand. ‘Speak or move! We’ve got a new football game about to start!’
The Daddies laughed. Bodie gave Taylor’s hand a squeeze – it was time to let everyone know exactly what they had been planning together.
‘Guys, I have an announcement,’ Taylor said. ‘It’s time to make things official. With the help of my darling boy, I’m going to do something that I’ve always dreamed of. I’mofficiallyannouncing my run for Mayor of Cape Daddy.’
Bodie had never felt so proud of his Daddy.
Between them, they had decided that Taylor would run for mayor, and Bodie would be his campaign manager handling all the PR and campaign materials.
There were some other strong candidates, but Bodie felt sure that Taylor would triumph and win the vote. Regardless of the outcome though, Bodie knew that he would be so proud of his Daddy.
