“Babe. Not everyone likes key lime and coconut.”

“Who cares. It’s our wedding.” His brows furrowed. “Hold on.” He pulled out his phone and sent a text message.

Within seconds, all three of his brothers walked through the sliding door.

“You have to taste this.” Jackson held up his plate.

Conner took a bite. “Holy shit. Is that—”

“It is.” Jackson grinned. “Key lime and coconut.”

“It’s good,” Nathan said.

“Man, I love key lime.” Christian smiled.

“See, babe. We all love it.”

“Your brothers don’t count.” I cocked my head.

“You just broke my heart, Georgia sunshine.” Conner pouted.

“Be quiet.” I laughed.

“Problem solved.” Gwen smiled. “You’re having a five-tier cake. We can make one of the layers the key lime and coconut. You can make all layers different if you’d like.”

“Gwen,” I love you!” Jackson pointed his fork at her.

“Me too.” Conner walked over to Gwen and extended his hand. “Dr. Conner Kind. I will also be hiring you for my wedding cake.”

“It’s nice to meet you, Dr. Kind.” She smiled. “When are you getting married?”

“No clue. I haven’t even proposed yet, but I will. And when we set the date. I will be calling you.”

“I appreciate that.” She grinned.

Jackson’s brothers and Gwen left. We went with a five-layer tiered cake with pink cascading roses and beads with our own cakes on each side. Jackson’s cake was key lime and coconut, while I chose white with a raspberry mousse.

“I’m going to head upstairs and take a nice hot bath.”

“Can I join you?” The corners of Jackson’s mouth curved upward.

“I would be highly disappointed if you didn’t.” I grabbed the front of his shirt, pulled him closer, and kissed his lips.

He swooped down, picked me up, and carried me up the stairs.

“Wait.” I stopped Jackson as he went to open the car door. “Before we go in there, Jenni said that Giuseppe is a little eccentric, but he’s the best. Remember how beautiful hers and Grace’s flowers were?”

“Honestly, I was too busy staring at how beautiful you looked.” The corners of his mouth curved upward as he winked.

“You’re smooth, Dr. Kind.” I reached over and kissed his lips before climbing out of the car.”

“You know it, babe.”

He grabbed hold of my hand as we walked through the door. A man who stood about five feet nine with medium-length curly brown hair ran over to us.

“You must be the happy couple!” He grinned as he clapped his hands. “Georgia, it’s lovely to meet you.” He kissed both my cheeks. “And you must be the incredibly handsome fiancé?” He grabbed Jackson and hugged him.
