“Would it be totally inappropriate to propose to Charlotte at your wedding?”

“You’re finally going to pop the big question?” The corners of my mouth curved upward.

“Yeah. Why not? I love that damn woman more than life, and I want and need her as my wife. I figured it would be romantic to do it at your wedding. Thoughts?” His brow arched.

“I think it’s a wonderful idea, and yes!” Georgia exclaimed. “Jackson and I would be honored if you asked Charlotte to marry you at our wedding. Right, Jackson?”

“Definitely, bro. Damn.” I smiled as I stood from my chair and hugged him. “It’s about time.”

“Let’s not get all excited yet. She might say no. Oh my God. I better rethink this. What if she doesn’t accept my proposal in front of all those people?”

“Yeah. Okay.” Georgia laughed. “She’s so in love with you, Conner. She isn’t going to say no, and you know it.”

“There’s always that one percent possibility, babe.” I glanced at her.

“You’re right.” She chewed her bottom lip. “She could totally say no. Talk about humiliation.”

“Fuck!” Conner ran his hand down his face, and Georgia and I laughed.

Georgia stood up, walked over to Conner, and grabbed the front of his shirt with her hands.

“We’re teasing you. Stop being an idiot.” Georgia hugged him. “She will say yes. I promise you.”

“Thanks, my Georgia sunshine.”

“Unless she decides to fuck with you first.” A smirk crossed my lips. “You two have a habit of doing that with each other.”

“It’s what makes our relationship special.” He grinned.

“Did you buy a ring already and not tell any of us?” I arched my brow.

“No. Do you think I would do that? You’re my bros. I never do anything without you guys. That said, I made an appointment for tomorrow at six-thirty.”

“I’ll be there, but you better check with Nathan and Christian.”

“I will. Thanks, fam.” He placed his hand on my shoulder.

Georgia and I left the Beverly Hills Hotel after checking out the Crystal Ballroom one last time before our wedding took place. As we climbed into the car, I glanced at my watch.

“Are you hungry?” I asked her.

“Yeah. I am. You?”

The corners of my mouth curved upward. “Yes, and I’m happy you are. We have ten minutes to get to our dinner reservation at Mastro’s.”

“That’s why you were rushing me out of the ballroom.”

“I wasn’t rushing you, babe.”

“Yes, you were. You kept saying, ‘Yes, babe. It’ll be perfect. Are we done?’ That’s rushing me.”

“Fine. This was our third time looking at the venue. How many times did we actually need to see it? It’s not like they’re going to change the room around.”

“I had to place things visually. Therefore, I needed to see the room again!”

“Three times, Georgia?”
