“It’s in your best interest not to say another word, Dr. Kind.”

“Okay. I won’t.” A smirk crossed my lips as I winked at her.

She reached over, slapped my arm, and I chuckled.

We were sitting in a booth at Mastro’s and had just finished dinner when Georgia got up to go to the restroom. As I sat there, sipping my scotch and waiting for her to return, I glanced over and saw my Aunt Barb and a man I’d never seen before being seated at a table.

“Shit.” I shook my head as I pulled my phone from my pocket and held it up to take a picture to send to my brothers.

“What are you doing?” Georgia asked.

“Hurry. Sit down before she sees you.”

“Who?”

“Aunt Barb. She’s here with some guy, and I’m taking a photo to send to my brothers.”

“Where?”

“Over there.”

Georgia slowly turned her head and stared at them.

“Damn. She moves fast.” She laughed.

In our group chat, I sent the photo to my brothers with the caption:“The huntress strikes again.”

“WTF!”Conner replied with a laughing emoji.

“Not again,”Nathan replied with a rolling eyes emoji.

“Here we go again. SMH.”Christian replied with a face and sticking out tongue emoji.

“How are we going to get out of here without her seeing us?” I asked.

“We’re not.” Georgia slid out of her seat.

“Georgia, oh my God. Sit down.”

“No. I want to know who that man is. Are you coming?”

I inhaled a sharp breath as I slid out of the booth.

“Aunt Barb.” Georgia grinned as we walked over to their table.

“Georgia. Jackson. I didn’t know the two of you were here.” Aunt Barb smiled as if it wasn’t a big deal. “I’d like you to meet Henry. Henry, this is my nephew, Dr. Jackson Kind, and his beautiful fiancée, Dr. Georgia Scott.”

“It is a pleasure to meet you both.” Henry extended his hand as I stood there in shock at his name.

“The pleasure is all mine, Henry.” Georgia shook his hand, as did I.”

“Actually, Georgia. I was going to call you earlier, but time slipped away from me. “Henry will be my plus one at your wedding.” She smiled.

“Oh. Excellent.”

“Aunt Barb, it was wonderful to see you.” I leaned over and kissed her cheek. “But we have to go.”

“You don’t have time to join us for a drink?” Aunt Barb asked.
