“I’ll work on my issues. But I won’t let you go. So, please give me a chance.” Aiden pleaded, his eyes searching hers for a positive answer.
“Aiden, I’m really hurt. But for the sake of our baby, I’ll give you a chance.” Aurora sighed.
Aiden smiled, the knots on his forehead relaxing. He took her in his arms.
“Aurora Samson, let’s move in together.”
Aurora smiled at him, inching closer into his embrace.
“We have to tell my family about the baby,” she said, burying her face in his chest. Outside, the noon had given away to evening, the sky painted in light blue-orange hues.
“We’ll do everything together, love.” Aiden held her close.
“I love you,” Aurora said, pulling him in for a kiss.
Aurora had the feeling that things were going to work out soon. Maybe not now, but in the near future. She felt safe with Aiden and her gut was telling her to give him a chance.
She was going to take it.
