“I’m fine. Thank you for lunch, it was lovely,” I say smiling.

“Anytime princess. Will you be able to fit us into your busy schedule before next month’s performance?”

I pout as I shake my head. “You know what it’s like before a show they have us practising from morning to night and then some. Will you still be coming to watch?” I ask looking at them both.

“Have we missed one yet?” Maximus asks with raised brows, I shake my head before opening my door.

“I’ll see you the last night then,” I call as I climb out. Sean opens his door and stands in front of me.

“Everything okay? Do you need anything?” he asks as he does every time I see him. I shake my head and hug him quickly.

“Nope, I have everything I need.”

“Okay princess, as long as you’re sure. We’ll see you next month,” he says kissing my cheek.

“Bye guys,” I call quickly heading towards the building. I look over my shoulder and can see them both watching me. I make a point of waving to them as I get to the door before opening it. They quickly wave back and then drive off.

I walk through the building to the back entrance, not wanting to risk them seeing me as I head in the opposite direction to my house.

I rush out of the rehearsal hall and instantly spot the two older O’Reilly brothers leaning against Christians Mercedes. They are impossible to miss in their designer suits, and broad shoulders looking like the very definition of dangerous but delicious. There are women all around stealing glances at them, but when they look up and see me, it’s like there’s no one else on the street. I rush towards them unable to hide the smile on my face.

As soon as I’m within reach Christian pulls me into his arms and holds me tightly to his broad chest as he presses a kiss to the top of my head.

“Hey, sweetheart,” he chuckles into my hair. I feel his hold loosen just the smallest amount before Jason grabs my hand and pulls me away from Christian and into his waiting arms as I laugh aloud.

“Hey! I’m right here as well you know!” he chuckles as he holds me just as tightly as Christian did.

“I don’t have favourites, you know that,” I laugh stepping back and looking at them both. I look down at my fitted jeans and top and realise I’m seriously underdressed. “Do I need to change?” I ask nervously. Jason shakes his head.

“You look perfect, as always Jazzy,” he says stepping to the side and opening the front passenger door. “Now come on we have a table booked and I’m starving,” he adds before I climb into the car smiling.

Jason climbs into the back seat, and I turn to look at him whilst Christian gets behind the wheel.

“Are you sure you don’t want to sit in the front? I don’t mind getting in the back.” As expected, Jason looks at me like I’ve gone mad.

“Put your seatbelt on, Jazzy.”

I quickly do as I'm told knowing better than to argue.

As soon as Christian pulls away from the curb and heads towards the restaurant he starts asking about what I’ve been up to and how rehearsals for next month’s show are going. The guys always ask about the dance school and are fully behind me in getting my degree and concentrating on becoming a professional ballerina. They will sit for hours as I talk about my next production and what I’m doing with the kids’ class I’m teaching. They never tell me to stop or seem bored, no matter how long I go on about it all. It’s one of the things I really appreciate about them.

I’m in full flow talking about everything when we come to a stop. I look out of the window at the posh restaurant in front of me. I’m still staring nervously when Jason opens the door and holds out a hand to help me to my feet.

“Guys, I’m really underdressed for this place, are you sure they’ll even let me in?” I ask quietly as I look down at my jeans and feel self-conscious. I should have known better with it being these two taking me out. Jason and Christian glance at each other quickly before both shrug off their jackets and hang them up in the back of the car.

“What are you doing?”

“We won’t let you feel out of place, sweetheart. The only reason we’re both in suits is that we came straight from a meeting,” Christian explains as he starts to roll up the sleeves of his grey shirt. I look at Jason to find he’s doing the same, revealing his tattoos. He gives me a cheeky wink before holding his arm out for me. I slip mine around his and he leads me into the restaurant, as always making sure I’m comfortable.

Christian speaks to the Matinée and we’re shown to our table. The guys move their chairs closer to sit on either side of me and Christian quickly orders our first round of drinks. As soon as our drinks are on the table Christian pounces.

“So, schools been okay then? No issue with anything or anyone?”

I freeze with my lips against my glass of wine as I look over the rim at him.
