“Mr O’Reilly? I thought that was you. How are you?” I look up just in time to see Danielle standing next to Christian, who’s frowning at her.

“Miss King, isn’t it?”

“You remember me? I’m flattered, but please call me Danielle.”

“I didn’t realise you went to school here,” Christian says as he hands over his card to the server.

“Oh yes, I’m studying for a degree in dance. You should come to watch a performance. I’m going to get the lead role this year.”

“I wasn’t aware the parts had been allocated yet,” Christian answers frowning at her.

“They haven’t. But I’m the best dancer here,” Danielle announces as she puts a hand on Christian’s arm. I glare at her and want her to turn to face me, how dare she touch him, he’s mine.

“I beg to differ Miss King I know for a fact there is a fantastic dancer in this school, one I’ve watched for many years and have a personal interest in.”

“Oh, I see, is it someone I know?” Danielle stutters.

“I’m not sure,” Christian replies not giving anything away. I realise he’s playing a game with her, and she isn’t enjoying it. He’s waiting for her to say something negative about me, or someone else so he can call her out on it. Clever Daddy.

“Are you here for business or personal reasons?” Danielle asks as she slides her hand up Christian’s arm. I swear if she flirts with him one more time, I’m going to rip her to shreds. I never realised how possessive I am of my guys, but then I’ve never seen other women around them. They have always made a point of giving me their undivided attention where ever we are.

“Personal reasons. Someone very important to me is also a student here, why don’t you come and say hi?” Christian says as he picks up our drinks and walks towards me. He gives me a wink as Danielle follows him and starts looking around. When she sees me, she slides up a little closer to Christian like it’s her he’s dating.

“There you are sweetheart. Your favourite,” Christian announces as he places the cup in front of me and leans in to kiss my cheek. Danielle stares at us as her face goes bright red. "Do you know Miss King? It sounds like you must be on the same course,” Christian says as he sits down next to me. He places an arm around the back of my seat and a hand on my shoulder.

“I do, yes,” I reply as I smirk at Danielle who for possibly the first time in her life has been rendered speechless.

“Miss King seems to think she’ll get the lead role this time as she’s the best dancer, but I beg to differ. There again I’ll admit it is only you my brothers and I see when you are on the stage, sweetheart,” Christian says proudly.

"Stop it,” I say blushing as he smiles at me. "I didn't realise you know Danielle,” I add, Christian shrugs as he takes a sip of his coffee.

"I know her father,” Christian answers looking at his phone as it starts to ring.

“Excuse me, ladies,” he says quickly before kissing me on the lips, "I'll be right back,” he stands up and walks away with his phone to his ear.

“What the hell? How long have you known the O’Reilly’s?” Danielle demands under her breath. "And how the hell did you get Christian? He’s been dating the same person for years!” she hisses at me. I look at her with arched brows as I take a sip of my drink.

“Three years to be exact,” I reply. “I don’t know how many times I’ve told you; some people don’t like to flaunt what they have,” I answer as she stares at me. “Word of advice Danielle. Now you know the truth, I would be very careful how you continue to treat me. I may not have said anything yet, but all it would take is a comment toanyof the O’Reilly brothers and your father’s business with them would end,” I point out as I lean in closer to the now pale Danielle.

"Also a word of warning, if you ever place your hands or flirt with any of them again, I will personally make sure you never dance here or anywhere for a very long time.” I have no idea where this is coming from and what I would actually do, but the threat seems to be enough as she looks even paler.

“You can’t possibly have all four to yourself,” she growls. I just shrug and lean back in my chair.

“If you don’t want to believe me that’s fine, but I dare you to test your little theory.”

Danielle looks at me and I see the colour returning to her face as she gets angry.

“Whatever if they want to lower themselves to being with someone like you…”

“Now that’s not very nice. Do you think you are better than me? That you are better than any of us in this school? Because you’re not. Things are changing Danielle and it’s time you realised the only thing going for you right now is your father’s money, which is coming frommy men,” I point out. “Now move along and leave me alone I want to finish my coffee in peace before I head to class.”

Danielle flicks her hair over her shoulder before spinning around and storming out of the café as I sit back smiling to myself whilst nursing my coffee.

“Looked like you were having fun, sweetheart.”

I look up to see Christian sitting down in the chair next to me. He picks up his coffee and gives me a smile before taking a sip.

“You knew who she was the whole time,” I say shaking my head in disbelief.
