I close my eyes and let my hand wander down my flat, hard stomach until I’m holding my dick, groaning as I give it an experimental tug.

Over and over I tug at it and feel my breath quicken. I picture her down on her knees, her legs wide open as she gently touches herself while I push my dick in and out of her rounded lips. I grab her long golden hair and sink my fingers all the way to her scalp, holding her head captive until she’s swallowing as much of my cock as she can. I’m butting up against her tonsils and she doesn’t complain, just grunts and pushes my dick further in her soft mouth until her tongue slides across the bottom of my steel rod one more time and then it’s all over but the shouting. I holler and hold her head steady as she gulps and swallows every last drop of my release.

My head tips back and I growl harshly as my seed spills out onto the shower floor and spirals down the drain.

Then I grasp a towel and move out of the shower, not surprised how quiet it is when I step out of the room and jog down the hall to grab my clean clothes out of the dryer.

I knock on Heather’s door but as usual, she just ignores me. Or something of the sort.

I head to the bedroom, exhausted but yet exhilarated. Happy yet confused.

Worried about my sister but yet totally needing Daffy. Needing her sweetness and honey to chase away my loneliness.

After today, I don’t think that’s ever gonna happen. I’ve never felt an instant connection with a woman like I have her. But I think that’s a lost cause since I just basically ditched her to run home and deal with my sister.

I don’t regret doing this for my sister. But I sure as hell regret that I can’t claim Daffy like I want to.

It wouldn’t be fair to her. I’m entirely too much of a mess to be anyone’s salvation or sweetheart.

Too damaged and too damn busy. Fuck, do I wish I wasn’t. I’d give anything to taste that woman one more time.

CHAPTER8

Daffy

The next morning, I open my doors and one of the first people to show up is Harrison’s little sister. “What are you doing here?”

“I just wanted to say thank you for the sandwich. I know you bought it and not my brother.”

“He needed food. He worked all day.”

“He’s always working.” She pouts and sticks out her bottom lip.

I shake my head and pull her inside. “Do you not realize that he’s doing all that for you? He wants to give you a good life. He wants to be a good influence for you.”

“Do you know what kinds of things he got up to when he was my age? He has no room to talk about who I choose to date or what I do with my life.”

“Okay. But is this the hill you want to die on? Do you want to annoy him so much that you can’t think sensible thoughts? One of which is that you need to keep your grades up and make sure that you can get into a good college. It will be just the thing for you. Get you out and among people. And it gives Harrison a chance to have a little bit of fun. Don’t you think he deserves that?”

“He’s always so serious! I don’t know if he actually knows how to have fun!” Her fists slam into her hips and she glares down at the ground like it’s personally offended her.

“Trust me. He knows how to have fun. But the guy’s stressed. You can’t blame him either.”

“I’m stressed too. My parents died.”

“You seem to forget that his parents died too. And if they were as good a people as they seem to be, since you and your brother are so great, then he probably misses them a great deal and he’s afraid that he’s going to disappoint them if you don’t go to college and have a wonderful future in front of you.”

“I suppose so.”

“Why don’t you cut him a break? Go home and talk to him about your feelings. See what he has to say. I bet it’s not that he doesn’t love you. It’s that he’s worried about your future and that he feels responsible because of your parent’s death. He became an instant parent and he doesn’t have anything but that right now.”

“He doesn’t want to date.”

“How do you know that? The guy’s got you to worry about and I know that he takes it seriously.”

She nods. “I suppose so. Yeah. I’ll go home and talk to him. After I take care of one small thing.”

“What are you thinking about doing?” My eyes narrow and I have a bad feeling.
