“Oh, dammit! You can put me down now.”

My mouth twitches. “You got up here. Why don’t you get down?”

Her lips thin and she glares at me. “You know what happened. I just got scared.”

“Yeah. I got that. If you let me get to my phone, I’ll call a friend to come take care of the squirrel.”

“He’s not going to hurt it, is he?”

My mouth drops open and I swear I almost fall over. “Are you kidding me? You got so scared, you climbed me like a freaking monkey climbing a tree and now you’re worried that he’s going to hurt it?”

“Just cause I don’t like squirrels…”

“More like you’re freaking terrified of them,” I interrupt her and she glares at me, her legs still wrapped around my middle, distracting me.

“I don’t like them and I have a healthy distrust of rodents.” She glares me down and then tries to move off of me.

“You don’t like me and yet you climbed me like I’m a damn jungle gym!”

“Jeez! Give it a rest! I got scared. Now I’m fine.”

“Good. I’ll put you down.” I set her lightly on her feet and then gasp. “Oh shit! It’s right behind you.”

“Dammit!” She screams and leaps on me, her arms and legs practically strangling me.

“Look at me,” I laugh. Her soft curves are pressed tight against me and I’m paying for my little practical joke with a dick that’s so hard I could pound nails with it.

She lifts her head and her eyes are welling with tears. My heart seizes in my chest. “I’m so sorry, princess. I didn’t mean to scare you.”

“Is it gone?” She whispers and I lean my forehead against hers. “Yeah, baby. Let’s get you downstairs.”

I carry her over to the opening and let her feet down lightly. “You go on downstairs and I’ll follow you down and call my buddy. As soon as he says it’s clear I’ll fix your wiring but it’s gonna take awhile, princess. I’ve gonna have to check everything to make sure that there’s no place that it’s still chewed up because that could start a fire.”

She climbs down carefully and stares up at me as I come down the stairs. “That would be bad.”

“That would be very bad.”

Her sudden smile confuses me until she groans. “I can’t believe that blinking rodent ate my wiring.

I shake my head and laugh lightly. “Yeah.”

I wish my mind would get out of the damn gutter right now because I’m sorely tempted to tell her that there’s another squirrel down here so that she jumps into my arms again. I can’t remember the last time I had a date, let alone a beautiful woman that was pressed up against me so close that you couldn’t even fit a piece of paper between the two of us.

For sure the last woman didn’t have my body on red alert like the pretty little princess in front of me. Her long blond hair is wild around her head and her blue eyes are still wide-eyed, her smile still forced.

“I’ll just give my buddy a call and we’ll get this all taken care of so you can open back up.”

She nods but her smile looks forced as she says, “that would be great, thank you.”

Both of us retreat to seperate corners but I feel her eyes on me when I’m not looking and I’ll bet she feels mine on her when she’s doing the same.

It’s going to be a really long day if my dick stays as hard as it is now. I groan and shove my fingers in my hair and then there’s a knock at the door.
