“Um.” Banks looked from her to me, his eyes startled. He looked like a deer caught in oncoming headlights.

“Hold me!” Love Bug demanded with a pout.

“You heard her, son,” I said, fighting a grin. “Hold the girl.”

“Fine,” he muttered and bent to pick her up.

“Hi.” Love Bug laid her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes.

One of the doors opened, and Luca stuck his head in. “They make it to the finish line yet…” He trailed off when he saw his daughter being held by my son. “That’s going to be a problem.”

“Can we move this along, please?” I heard Trinity demand. “I’m kind of waiting to get married.”

Huffing, he shut the door again. The music changed once more, and my heart moved up into my throat as I waited. And waited a little longer. My hands balled into fists, and I was ready to march up the aisle to find out what the holdup was all about, when the doors swung open, and Trinity stood there looking like the most beautiful bride I’d ever set eyes on. Beside her, Devlin stood with her arm threaded through his, looking both proud and ready to cry at the same time.

My gaze automatically went back to Trinity when they took the first step down the aisle. Her hair fell in soft waves down her back, a tiara holding her veil in place, and that dress…

Fuck, I was going to have to be extra careful not to rip it to shreds when I finally got her alone later.

The closer she got, the more of her I could see through my blurry eyes. I wasn’t used to seeing her in makeup, but she’d kept it natural, only highlighting those beautiful eyes and her lips. She gave me a smile that wobbled, making those deep dimples pop, and I found it hard to breathe.

When she and her dad got a few feet away, they paused, waiting for the officiant to ask who was giving her away. Devlin cleared his throat once, then two more times before he was finally able to whisper, “Her mother and I do.”

Trinity pulled her eyes off me long enough to kiss and hug her father before he was placing her hand in mine. I felt his trembling fingers as he made the exchange and clasped him on the back with my free hand, the father in me understanding the difficulty of the moment for him.

Devlin stepped back and then sat beside his wife, who was openly weeping, while Trinity finally saw what Banks was doing. “Is she asleep?” she asked our son.

“Um, yeah, I think?” Banks whispered, adjusting her slight weight in his arms.

“I’ll take her, bud,” Luca offered, appearing off to the side.

“Nah, I got her,” Banks said, holding on to Love Bug a little tighter.

Trinity and Luca shared a brief look. “That’s going to be a problem,” they both muttered in unison, making more than a few people snicker.

We’d had our first dance, cut the cake, and Trinity had already thrown the bouquet—which Violet had caught, but then had thrown at Piper like it was on fire and now her hands were blistered. Everyone had cried ‘Awwwww!” until she’d tossed the flowers at Piper, who’d grabbed them and waved them in Cannon’s face teasingly while calling him “jerkface.” Then those same people had sighed and gone back to eating their cake.

I didn’t have time to wonder what the drama was regarding Violet and her being skittish about catching the bouquet. I had other, far more pressing things to think about.

Like how the fuck I was going to get Trinity out of her dress without ripping the damn thing.

Taking her hand, I guided her out of a side door and into the main part of the hotel, trying hard not to run for the nearest elevator. My fingers shook as I held her hand. Fuck, my entire body was quaking. Something she couldn’t miss as the doors opened and I guided her inside.

As soon as we were shut into the metal box, I closed my eyes and tried to do physics equations in my head. I didn’t know jack shit about physics, so I would either distract myself until we could get to the bridal suite where we would spend the night before catching a flight out to the Maldives the next morning, or I’d give myself an aneurysm in the process. Either way, I’d be able to control my cock until we made it to a bed.

But then Trinity pushed me up against the elevator wall. My eyes barely opened before she was gripping the back of my head and pulling me down for a kiss that ensured I lost all control.

With a feral-sounding growl, I lifted her off her feet, deepening the kiss as her legs had just enough room to wrap around my waist, considering how tight her dress was. My hands filled with her luscious ass, and I turned us, so she was the one against the wall, dry humping my cock against her core as the elevator rose higher.

I felt the machine slow and had enough brain cells left to raise my head. Breathing raggedly, I kept hold of her ass as I carried her off the elevator and straight to the suite. I didn’t remember getting the door open or dropping her onto the bed. All I remembered was tearing my tie off, followed by my jacket, shirt, and pants.

By the time I was down to only my boxer briefs, she’d thankfully unzipped herself and shimmied out of her dress, leaving her in nothing but white bikini briefs and a matching bra.

“So fucking beautiful,” I rasped as I pushed her back onto the pillows and spread her legs. “I’m sorry, baby. So fucking sorry. But this first time, it’s going to be real quick. I swear, the rest of the night, I’ll take my time with you. Make you come as many times as you ask for. Right now, though, I can’t breathe. It hurts, Trinity. I’m dying because I’m not a part of you.”

She lifted her hips and helped me push her panties down her legs. “I hurt too, Jarrett. Please. Take the ache away so this agony will stop.”
