“I doubt I want to click on this.”

I’m fully smiling now. I love that she’s giving him shit. He clicks on the video.

It’s a montage of him making stupid faces and tripping.

“God,” he groans as the video moves into a section of him dancing – terribly. “It must have taken her hours to piece all this together. How did she even find all this footage? I’ve never even seen half of this.”

I’m trying not to laugh. “You really need to retire those dance moves.”

“She’s going to take this down,” he growls and then starts punching something into his phone.

“What are you doing?” I ask.

“Finding her address. We’re paying her a visit.”

I trail behind Will down the hallway of Olivia’s building. It’s a pretty shitty, rundown place.

“This is going to end badly,” I say. He glances back at me and then I add, “I can’t wait to watch.”

“Sometimes I really hate you, you know that?” Will mutters as he looks for her apartment.

“And for some reason, you love me anyway.”

“462.” We stop in front of her door. He takes a deep breath, raises a fist and knocks.

The door swings open a few moments later.Holy hell.Olivia opens the door wearing tiny shorts and a crop top. I drag my eyes slowly up and down her body.

She scowls at Will and then turns to me and smiles brightly, “Hey Declan, good to see you.”

I lean against the doorframe and nod.

“Ms. Dalton,” Will holds up his phone. “Take this down.”

She scoffs. When she does, she turns slightly, and when the light hits, I can see a bruise on her face. I stand straight up.

“Did someone hit you?” I ask.

She leans on the doorframe and crosses her arms over her chest. “Oh, I just got into a fight with some Nazis.”

My eyes grow wide, “A Nazi punched you in the face?”

“Slapped.”

“It’s true. I was there. Well, not for the slap, but for the rest of it,” Will adds.

I flash my eyes over to Will.

“A protest got out of hand the other day,” he mumbles.

“We got pepper sprayed,” she says, her eyes darting over to Will for a moment.

“Both of you?” I look at Will, confused.

“I was at the Capitol for a meeting, and I passed a bunch of Nazis harassing this young girl, barely a teenager. I stepped in. They didn’t like the interference.” She gestures to her face. “Your brother showed up with a small army, and they pepper sprayed us before we could leave.”

My eyes widen even further and then I narrow them at Will. “Interesting. Will has said nothing about this.”

Will shrugs. “It’s not why I’m here.”
