What the hell is going on here? Olivia returns to scowling at Will. “I’m not taking the video down. You pissed me off.”

“Because he rescued you from Nazis?” I ask. I can’t seem to wrap my mind around all this.

She scoffs. “I didn’t need rescuing. I would have been fine.”

Now Will scoffs. “Your face would look a lot worse if I hadn’t shown up.”

Her eyes dart to the floor for just a moment and then she says, “I’m still pissed at you. The video stays. It’s my most popular one yet.”

“I’m aware,” he seethes. A light in the hallway flickers.

“I’m working on another one,” she says to me, eyes bright.

“God, you are the worst,” Will spits out.

“Back at you,” she snaps.

I just let out one loud laugh and rub my chin.My god. This woman - she should be a bit of afraid of Will. I mean, he’s a Senator and probably the most powerful one. She doesn’t give a fuck. I love it. Most people act so phony and gross around James and Will. It’s nice to see someone who doesn’t back down. She really does have balls of steel.

“Come on, we’re going to miss the game.” I nod toward the elevator. Will looks like he’s nowhere near finishing this conversation. I start down the hall, and he follows after me anyway. We’re halfway to the elevator when I hear, “Senator Sterling?”

We turn.

“Your shirt.” She’s holding it out toward Will.

What the hell? She has his undershirt? I choke on nothing and start coughing.

“I washed it for you,” she says, sweetly.

Will stomps back down the hallway and grabs it out of her hands.

I can’t hear what they are saying, but she steps closer to him – really close. She straightens his tie and smooths his lapel. They’re definitely fighting and seem to hate each other, but are they also fucking? I can’t tell now.

His face pales and his eye twitches as they talk. His body is stiff as a board.

She takes another step back until she’s in her apartment. After she shuts the door in his face, I just shake my head. I have no idea what I just witnessed.

“Come on, maybe we can make it before halftime,” he says, walking toward me.

“Oh, I'm not upset. This was far more entertaining than any game.”

I follow him onto the elevator. As soon as the doors close, I say, “What the fuck happened back there?”

“Hell if I know.”

I look down at the undershirt in Will’s hands and then arch an eyebrow. “Why did she have your undershirt? Did you two...”

“No,” he snaps. “God, no.”

I look at him skeptically.

“I gave it to her when she was pepper sprayed. Her shirt was eating her alive.”

I blow out a long exhale as I study his face.

“She took off her shirt in front of me,” he explains, looking straight ahead.

“Was she wearing a bra?”
