“I can’t make my little Cricket hurt, can I?” I slip up and over her supine body, drinking in the stunning sight before me. Her long legs splayed, her hair tousled like gold silk and her grey eyes darkened to stormy ebony with desire.

Then I slide between her thighs and push the head of my cock slowly inch by inch while she sighs and begs so damn prettily.

I ram my dick home and she lifts her back up, her eyes wide and a startled squeak slipping out of her bruised lips.

“Oh my god!” She wails, her fingers digging into my shoulders, leaving little half-moon marks in my skin. I pull out sharply and then slam back home, gritting my teeth. Over and over I slam my aching rod deep inside her slick heat until she’s ripping at my back and shoulders, her cries half-strangled as she bites down on my arm like a wild thing.

“That’s my good girl, Cricket.” She whimpers and I reach down to run my tongue soothingly along her lips. Then I lave her slender throat, working my way down until I can wrap my lips around her tender bud, working it with my teeth and tongue until it’s diamond hard.

Her gasps and little wriggles have me gritting my teeth to hold back. I don’t want this feeling to end. I want to make love to her all afternoon but I can feel the sizzle in my spine building until it’s surging through my veins like the finest champagne. My balls draw up and then my cock jerks in her sweet pussy and I grind my teeth together as I ram in two more times.

“Yes, Cricket. Yes, don’t stop moving, baby.” I slam her deep into the bed and she wraps herself around me until I feel myself lose it and a huge orgasm washes over me like a tidal wave dragging me down. The pleasure courses through me and I sag to the mattress, my hand catching me before I smother my love.

I drop to the side and Heather immediately curls into my side. I slip my arm around her and kiss her sweaty hair gently. “I can’t believe I was ready to let you go.”

Her head lifts and she smirks at me. “That was never going to happen, Cody. We are fated to be together. There was never going to be any other end but this.”

“You might be right.”

She’s a smart woman, my girl. If she says that we’re meant to be and it could never end any other way…she’s probably right. No matter how big an idiot I was.

Her sigh sinks into me and I smile. Home. That little four-letter word means so much to me. Just like the woman in my arms.

My fate. My love. My heart. She’s all of it wrapped up in a tiny little bundle that packs a helluva punch.

I must have done something right in this life to get this damn lucky. My ranch is well on the way to being safe from the bank and the woman I’ve loved my whole life has agreed to be mine.

I smile when she snores lightly into my chest. I’m going to spend my whole life devoted to keeping her happy and making a good life with her.

And that’s what home means to me now. Family. The family we’ll raise here on our land for generations to come.

Epilogue Two: Heather

Ipull the truck up to the front gate and smile when I see the Iron H curling through the iron rails. They swing open and I drive up to the house, laughing happily when I see all of our kids standing outside waiting for me.

I’ve been on a tour with my new book. Ranch living gave me time to try new things and we discovered I have a propensity for writing. It gives me an outlet for all the hopes and dreams that I nurture for my family and friends.

It also has given us an extra income that’s allowed us to grow the ranch and save even more horses. Cody’s dream is alive and well here in Ruby, Oklahoma and it’s building a new future for a lot of abused and broken animals.

All four of our kids are standing outside the truck before I can even blink once I stop.

Samuel whips the door open and pulls me out for a hug. I giggle. He’s almost as big as his father already. He’s only fifteen but he’s the sweetest boy. Our two daughters and our youngest son push at my legs, begging for attention.

But I feel the air stir around me and turn to the corrals beside the barn. Cody rides up, slipping out of the saddle, making my breath catch.

He’s bigger and broader than he was when we first married and there’s more silver than dark brown in his hair now but he’s still the sexiest man I’ve ever seen. This man is what fuels the daydreams that women everywhere fall in love with in my cowboy romances.

He hands the reins over to one of the grinning men and stalks out of the fenced corral. My body shimmers with hunger just like it always does when I see him.

He grunts at the kids and they part, grinning, knowing what he wants.

Me. No matter how many miles are between us. How many times we’re apart…there’s always that electricity that we only find when we’re back together.

I smile up into his harsh, craggy face. My hand slips up along his cheek and he groans, pushing into me like a cat.

“I hate it when you have to do these things,” he growls and my pussy shudders at the need in his voice.

“Last one for awhile, Cody. Kiss me,” I beg, pouting.
