“What? No. I’m fine. Although, I don’t really feel like donuts anymore. This isn’t the most epic donut shop in Billings, is it? Because if it is, then I’m gonna cry. And I’m not a pretty crier.”

“This isn’t the most epic donut store in Billings,” he told her gently. “And I’m sorry I told you everything I just did. The last thing I want is to add to your nightmares.”

“You haven’t. I promise.”

He gave her a skeptical look.

“I think it’s better he’s gone. At least he can’t rob anyone else. Even if it is a bit gruesome. They don’t know who did it?”

“No,” he said. “They’re looking into it.”

“So if this isn’t an epic donut shop, is it ice cream?” she asked, trying to change the subject. She wasn’t sure she could eat any ice cream right now, either.

Total tragedy.

“Not an ice cream shop.”

“No? Then what is it?”

How did anyone know what it was when there was no signage? Weird.

“It only opened about a month ago. It’s a special store.”

“Special how?” she asked.

“For big Little girls and boys.”

“That sort of thing exists in real life?” Whoa. Mind. Blown. She’d known about the online stores, she liked to look at them sometimes and dream.

“Apparently. Let’s go and take a look, okay?”

“Can you just walk in?” she asked.

“Actually, it’s membership only.”

“You have a membership?” She looked over at him. Was he planning on bringing other women here?

She felt a bit murderous at that thought.

“Yep. I bought one last night.”

“Last night?”

“While you were sleeping,” he said, already opening his door.

Had he bought the membership so he could bring her here?

“Make sure you stay there until I come and get you.”

She rolled her eyes at his bossiness, but waited for him to come around and lift her down.

Hack took her good hand in his and led her to the door, where he had to ring a doorbell and hold up his membership card on his phone to the camera before the door opened.

“Why so much security?” she asked as they stepped into a small foyer. It looked really classy, with marble floors and a dark wallpaper on the walls.

“Oh, that’s because we like our clients to have their privacy protected.”

Greer looked over as a small woman bounced up to them. She was wearing a gorgeous outfit of pale pink and blue. A blue and pink striped tutu with long blue socks underneath and a pink long-sleeved top with a bunny on the front. The bunny had a fluffy tail.
