Just kill her now. He did not just call her a good girl. He shut the door, then walked over to her car. Her heart was pounding way too fast.

This was crazy.

Suddenly, she realized she’d sent him to get her water bottle. What was she thinking? She shouldn’t have brought that bottle with her, especially when she was going to visit her nephews.

Stop him before he can grab it.

But he’d told her to be a good girl and stay in the car.

He’s going to see my blow job bottle.

There were sayings along the side like . . .

Just one more inch to go.

Swallow like a good girl.

And when he read them, she was going to die.

Just as well she was sitting on a heated seat so she could die happy.

Maybe it was weird to have a bottle like that when she was scared to have sex. But it came from one of her favorite authors. One of the characters in her book had a bottle just like it, and when Greer looked at it, it reminded her of that book. The main male character in it was to die for.

He grabbed her bags first and then opened the door in the back.

“Just leave my drink bottle,” she said hastily. “I don’t need it. I can get water at the hotel. You need to get warm.”

He gave her a funny look. “And you need to stay hydrated. Even when it’s cold.”

Shit. Shit. Shit.

She was facing forward when he got back into the truck, but she could see he was holding the drink bottle from the corner of her eye.

Clearing his throat, he held it out to her. She hastily grabbed it, still not looking at him.

So. Embarrassing.

He started the truck, and she breathed out a sigh of relief. Okay. Maybe he hadn’t read what it said. That was good.

“Buckle in, Sugar Plum,” he told her.

Sure. She could do that. It took her a couple of tries, but she finally did up her seat belt.

Dear. Lord.

“Good girl.”

Could he tell how much those words affected her? She sure hoped not.

Usually, she was only this turned on when she read her books. Just because she never had sex didn’t mean she didn’t have needs.

They started back down the highway and she thought she could now breathe easier.

This was going to be okay. She could totally do this.

She had this.
